I got 39 average in my Phantom on saturday. I wish there was a better way to easily compare performance over the internet than just fallrate. Why does it always turn to "mine is better then yours"? This thread is about the new backfly leg on the Tony Suit, not a performance comparison......... The new suit design looks great. Once again, I'll be organizing wingsuit flocks and doing first flight courses during Skydive Oregons "ALL OF THE ABOVE" Boogie this year on the dates of August 24th-26th 2007. Skydive Oregon in Molalla is an awesome DZ with one of the most beautiful views from the altitude and one the ground. Aircraft are Super Otters and Caravans. Extra large grass landing area, HUGE swoop pond. Camping/showers on the DZ and bon fires and BBQ's at night. I will have demo suits from Birdman, Phoenix Fly, Jii Wings and Tony Suits, so contact me ahead of time to see if I'll have one that will fit you. See you there! If I have a private student that hasn't jumped in awhile, or has even gone 2 or 3 weeks in between jumps, I will quiz then on the things they remember. If they have any dout or answered questions unsatisfactory to me, I'll give them a short refresher so they know whats needed BEFORE I take them into the air. Some students retain alot, and some retain little when not at the DZ. A simple quiz will let you know if they need a refresher to total retraining. As for experienced jumpers that haven't jumped in awhile, dont let them fool you into thinking they still know everything. Some will suprise you in the air as to how shitty they really were......... From what I remember, Robi did a couple flocking jumps, then went up to test the spot distance for the competition, so he did have some physical exhaustion before the comp. Jeff on the other hand did quite a few flocking jumps that day, with alot of back flying. Stamina is a huge factor when the comp is from 13k, thats why we did our comp in Lodi from only 6K. If you want a true test of distance, have everyones weight the same, have the suits all made for the same body size, and have the exit from a lower altitude so they dont burn out before pull time?
