What to do when Jump Pilot isn't licensed???
bodypilot1 replied to JUDYJ's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Over the years I have been taken to altitude by alot of pilots. I'd have to say I'd trust my life with the ones that have a private rating just as much as the ones that have the commercial rating, if not more. You obviously have other issues besides safety......... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

If your jumping at a USPA drop zone, look under USPA.org. If not, above ground is most preferred. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

And it doesn't have the "incredible shrinking door" as you are trying to exit. The door on the Kodiak is 50"X50". Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Ditto Bill. I learned alot from being on George's skydives when I had only 400 or so jumps. His intolerance of bad skydiving made you stress at times, but also work to be a much better skydiver. His Mission Impossible skydives were the best. But like some jumpers say, you either liked him, or hated him. I'd jump with George agian anytime.... Your doing static line right? Even tightening the legs straps to, what seems like super tight on the gound, or adding silly oven mits or seat belt covers, you will still get you these bruises probably. Unless you adjust them back up correctly into your crotch area as you climb out of the 182. As you are sitting with your back to the instrument panel the straps will slid down your legs no matter what you do, because you are bent over. A simple one handed adjustment to get them back up is all that is needed as you are climbing out. Just dont fall off as your adjusting them..... Not always. It's possible they may be looking down, or up stowing the slider. I have also seen people just freeze up and do nothing while on a direct collision course. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
