For me, arching or dearching has nothing to do with control surface area. Arching is no dout smoother flying then dearched, and it makes it easier to control the fetal/kicking student as well. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

The sept qualifier was TBA. Look on Elsinore website for the announcement. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

I know a few TI's that dont arch when doing tandems, and they suck doing RW. The lazyness translates into the rest of your skydiving as well. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Skydiving Without Jumpsuit
bodypilot1 replied to showithers's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
If you have clear access to your main pilot chute, cutaway handle and reserve handle, jumping without a skydiving designed jumpsuit is perfectly fine. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
Execution was too easy. IMO, they should have ass raped him then strangled him to death. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Where to jump this weekend around San Fran
bodypilot1 replied to repcool's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Jump tickets at Lodi are $15, laying around the dropzone tickets are $24....... www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
Yes, opening the leg wing all the way, pointing your toes, and putting positive tension on the leg wing will stop any flapping. That is how the suit is designed to fly. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Not really. Charlie probably would have been just as good if I would have started him in the S3 vs my Classic www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

There is nothing wrong with diving toward the tail. Depending on where you are exiting in the lineup, diving to the wingtip may be costing you wasted time in getting to the formation. If he is exiting and doing a flip, he needs to dive with his arms straight out in front of him for a second, spot the formation, then adjust body position and arms for a better trajectory to the spot he wants to go to in the sky. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

All of the Above Boogie at Skydive Oregon August 22nd-24th 2008
bodypilot1 replied to bodypilot1's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I have been getting alot of emails asking if this Boogie will be a qualifier for the record attempts in Nov. Yes it will be a qualifier, as well as just overall fun flocking. Everyone is welcome on the flocks. -
I'd have to dig out my folder for WT 06 to see if that was on there, but if it was, it was only a recommendation NOT a rule. There was information given to us before we left for Thailand, so I dout people would change canopy sizes after they got there, unless they were bringing it along with them as a spare canopy. There was plenty of canopies there over 1.6, as well as mine at 1.9, and I had no problems even when landing in a small school yard a mile off the base with 5 other canopies. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
