You mispelled that word it si employee. one guy said it. The funny thing about the company listening is there were plenty of other things employees weren't too happy about that they could have fixed but they chose this one. Yeah, they listen alright. Oh yes. That has been going on already. Seeing the guy backpaddle was cool for us and pathetic for him. He will eventually get fired but we will all still be stuck witht he crap he created for us. At least he won't be around after that to help us out anymore. You missed the point of the post. The point of the post was about how screwed up it is for people lie for no reason or to be the center of attention. But since you asked about the work policy, it is the strictness of the policy. where I once had flexibility to be late and just make it up at lunch or the end of the day(as long as it isn't abused and wasn't) now one does flexibility. How about an intentional water landing next to the dive boat? If you like salt water on your gear be my guest. I wonder what it would be like to do CRW with a BCD, fins, tank and regulators on? I absolutely despise people who lie for what seems to be to cover up a poor level self- esteem. I have run across a few people that just always just have to be the center of attention all the time. Sometimes their lying is a method of being in the center of attention. Making up stuff or skewing a view on a subject. I’ll give an example. At work they give us online employee satisfaction surveys. Later they have someone other than our manager meet with a group and ask more specifics about the things that employees are dissatisfied about. Also at work we used to have a very relaxed attendance policy. At employees satisfaction survey meetings this one employee would always bring up the fact that people just come and go and that no one knows where they are. I need to say at this point that it is none of his business because he is not a manager. He was doing it to be recognized or be the center of attention, the kicker is that he is late more than anyone working there and only lives a block from work. They gave us a new attendance policy now because he kept bringing it up at the meetings. We can’t be more than one minute late or call in less than an hour ahead of time four times a year or you get warned, then written up, and then fired. Here is the lie part, when confronted about it he said he wasn’t the only one to bring it up. All of us were in the meetings with him and he was the only one. The lie brought him attention because of the controversy amongst his peers. I have many more examples and of two or three other people I have met at jobs or during my recreation activities and even a family member. But my fingers are tired. Do you know someone at work or play or a family member that is lies for what seems no good reason or to boost self-esteem or to be the center of attention? Do you do anything about it? Don't need to be in Special Ops in the Marines to be a rigger. ANGLICO or air delivery has riggers, both can go to HALO school once promted high enough. Edited to add that Katie is right never join the service beause you want a job or you will make money. Your happiness should be the reason. First, you will not make money, second it is a tough lifestyle. Forget about the job, it is the everyday lifestyle that hammers most people. I speak form a Marine's stand point since we are so formal even in our off time. The part that isn't always true is how hard it is to do the job. In the air wing side of things in the Marines, things are a bit lax compared to the division side of things. ANGLICO is not for the timid or the weak at heart. They are fleet Marine Force or otherwise ground pounders. Recon is a whole different ball game. In air delivery you won't do 20knt force marches. Have you used a special "swap"-bag for that? I had 30+ swaps so far. I made a swap bag for that. Risers are locked against the top of the bag and D-bag can not freely move inside the bag either. There is still a little risk of incorrect re-attachment, so I repacked it if I had time. Nah I just got a second continer for CRW and I don't swap my free fall canopy and my CRW canopy anymore. One rig for each discipline. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

PC in tow no reserve ride probably should have been. RR#1 High wing loaded canopy backwards. Both of those could have definately been avoided. and won't happen again. Since I have had a canopy backwards I got anohter container and have two ris so I am not swapping canopies anymore much less while still packed in the D-bag. PC in tow was a stop link installed incorrectly when I went to a kill line PC. I feel as if I will be paying attention when I have to repace the bridle. That happened before I became a rigger. You're going to get busted up someday with this mentality. You could be right, but I think he means that he doesn't another mentor because he already has Apex as one. Cool quote by Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central

Besides hilarious, he is an intelligent, well grounded individual. He'd make a great neighbor, unlike Bill O'Reily. Most GOOD comics are intelligent. well grounded is another thing and subjective. as far as being a good neighbor unlike Bill O'Reily I think that might belong to the speakers corner. The advice to eat less and exercise more is good but you can do better than just that. Go to http://www.mypyramid.gov/ and figure out how to balance your diet. When exercising getting the heart rate up and keeping it up burns carbs fist then a runners second wind is burning fat. build up to being able to run doing warm up streatching and cool down exercises. Routines should last about 45 min to an hour 3 to 4 days a week leaving a day in between for your body to recouperate form the prior days exercise. As you get used to the routine step it up and add more intensity. It's a cool DZ. Very friendly. I didn't notice a big free fly contingent but there is plenty of RW. Caravan loads go when the jumpers aready so if the jumpers feel like doing a lot then there are lots of loads if they feel like relaxing then there won't be lots of loads. That my opinion from being there only a few times. No jumping during the week ususally. ADHD does suck, I think she thinks is sucks. I don't beleive in the spirit world. So no good stories. Althought I have heard plenty from people that they think when it gets cold all of a sudden in a particular spot in a room they think it is a ghost. I don't recommend that you hide the age of a container by renewing or changing its color. the degredation of the material is important because it means the difference of being airworthy or not. If wear and tear is hidden it makes inspection just a bit more difficult. Also, not everything list all ingredients in the container. There may be a chemical that you are not aware of that can damage the fabric in the dye.
