Didn't anyone notice, that it doesn't say anything about a "safe" landing? Simply landing! I'll bet this happen this year... :) / :(

If you do, I can recommend the kill-line PC from Precision Aerodynamics, if suitable. They have a indicator window (so you can see it's cocked properly) and the kill-line inside the bag (which is attached at the canopy) is inside the bridle. This way the bridle and kill-line are beter protected for wear

I occasionaly do camera work, and I always put my slider behind my head. This allowes for far better glide and swoops. Had 1 occassion on which the camera got stuck for a moment on the slider, not comfortable, but could clear it with moving my head. But this is during flight, if I have a mall I cutaway my main (off course) and if nescesarry the helmet. Personally I think a camera helmet should always be able to cutaway, this is also why I don't like the bonehead flat-top, has anyone a solution for this? Whatver you do, get a helmet you can cutaway! Blue Ones

I found it just after I posted.. :-) . Stupid though, should have thought of it myself, I knew a stable back to earth position would let it fire high and why. I also new deploying you main low, could activate the cypres also. I just never made the link to body position during deployment.. I feel stupid now.. :-( And yup, forgot to sign, Blue Ones Paul Renting (NLD)

Hi, I know the cypres can fire higher than 750 feet, but never saw an official statement from ssk or airtec. Looked at their website, but couldn't find it either. Could you point me to it?

To use an RSL or not to use in an ongoing debate, my personal view is that there is no "correct" answer, both sides are correct, it's a choice you have to make after hearing both sides. you could search the rec.skydiving group on www.dejanews.com. Though I must comment on your post, that a no pull or (too) late pull is ALWAYS worse then an unstable pull, simply because your death then...
