Yes, I'm not familiar with many manufacturing corporations moving their plants to Canada to exploit cheap labor. And for that matter I have no problems with either countries themselfs. I Bite! Philykev I completely agree with you Canuck: There is a difference between whining and sharing information about something wrong in the world. I do respect and agree with this statement. However, I am of the belief that in this land of wealth and opportunities that the products sold here should also be manufactured here to support the local economy, to support the nation! As a matter of principal at least to a level that sustaines an even, not inbalanced economy. Currently (I believe) because of NAFTA we have a tremendously inbalanced economy and a huge trade deficit in this country that I completely dissagree with and see it as a situation that has gotten out of hand. Actually I'm whining and eating a paste right now. I think you missed the point. I am Voicing my complaint, and I have written my congressman. This thread isn't about getting educated, I am and have a job, It's about an imbalance in the job market that is proving to be a mistake for my nation. Now that the truth is out about Nafta maybe more people will be pissed about it and make a change.
