  1. My nephew turned 18 this year. For his birthday/Christmas/pending HS graduation I gave him AFF. For his dad (my brother), to cover both Christmas & birthday (Jan 1), I bought a plane ticket to Florida to be able to WATCH his son do AFF.
  2. I found $300 on the floor in a hallway in a hotel once. I should have knocked on the nearest few doors, but instead turned it in at the desk (I was in a hurry to catch up with a friend). By the reaction of the front desk clerk and subsequent talk amongst the staff (I met up with my friend at the lobby bar), I figured it would probably never get to the owner. I looked the bartender in the eye and said that if it turned out to fund a party for the housekeeping staff, at least I knew MY conscience was clear. BTW -- didn't we have a thread about this recently? See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  3. I actually first saw the story on CNN.com, with video -- link was right next to the video of the cute polar bear cub linked in a Bonfire thread. See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  4. Awesome! Oh, and back at ya! See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  5. Me too! I'll probably keep the lights up until about mid-January. Sunset here will continue to be before 5 pm for at least another month, and the soft lights around the apartment are preferred over the harsh fluorescents. 6. my boy opened his presents early....now what? Jello Shots See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  7. Also saw yesterday: Start of war in Iraq End of the war in Iraq Wow! All in one day! and today: To all you girls that wanna get your guy that last gift What gift would guarantee a blow job? See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  8. Yeah, I like this one. I would say he doesn't get to play with them until after everyone else has opened their presents as scheduled. Stack his off to the side until then. Require his presence while everyone else opens their gifts -- one at a time. If you have anyone else coming over for this event, they'll ask why your son isn't participating (or why he didn't wait for everyone else). Answer: "oh, he opened his last week" and move on.
  9. ME Hi Nataly That's because you already have her photos from the "name that rack" thread downloaded to your ipod. See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!

    Jello Shots

Awesome reference! I'm going to bookmark it (and not just because that website had both of my suggestions ). Brz: The pudding shot portion about half-way down the page has some tasty-looking varieties, but since the last posting on that site, an new "alcohol infused" whipped cream has come on the market. If you do pudding, try that and see how it works (or use the alcohol whipped cream on the chocolate covered cherry shots Skymama likes!). [stands back to wait for other suggested uses for alcohol infused whipped cream to post] and for those of us who can't be there, PLEASE let us know what you tried and how they turned out! Jello Shots

wow -- yours sound ambitious (read: complicated)! Some of my favorites have to do with what type of booze I have available to me, then pairing it with an appropriate flavor of Jell-o. My favorite is the margarita shot. Tequila, lime jell-o, pinch of salt (if you have some triple sec you can add that, too, although the salt helps bind the tequila and lime flavors sufficiently). I also had some Malibu left over before one of my moves. I made a sort of pina colada shot by adding it to pineapple jell-o. I'm sure it would also taste really good with peach as well, since pineapple can be hard to find. See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  15. Oh, come on -- not all of us were talking through the booze! You did miss a really good time, girl. Missed seeing you. Walt -- welcome back. Yeah, Turkey Boogie was a good time! See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  16. Were you part of the group that went to Skydive City in Zephyrhills to do AFF/A license? We seem to get larger groups there each year from Slovenia.
  17. What motivated you to make a jewelry box? You obviously have exceptional skill. Does she already have jewelry to store there? I also agree with em on the above 3 points. If she needs to see jewelry in it after all the time, thought & effort of making the box, I would say you should seriously reconsider the type of relationship you want. ...and the fact that you paid attention to her needing a new computer says so much more than thinking she needs something shiny before she can appreciate the beautiful box. If you can afford it, go with the box & the computer. See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
  18. +1! Except now you have to narrow it down even further. Just because I'm interested in a guy does not mean HE will be interested in ME (note: I'm not "interested" in the ones just looking for the next score, so this unfortunate circumstance tends to be the result). You could also look at it this way -- he may be a decent guy, single, in the right age bracket, hetero, etc. However, what looks good "on paper" doesn't usually translate into a match. 19. Are you one of those types who starts "dating" someone after you've just met? If so, it's possible it's not so much about getting bored, but more that you really get to know that person and learn you're just not into her. 20. when was it broken? From about 7:23 AM PDT till 1:38 PM PDT Did you not change your clocks? Daylight Saving Time ended a few weeks ago! Oh, of COURSE! My mistake. 22. Not even looking! Good luck.
  23. You're in a different twilight zone. Currently, I'm in YOUR twilight zone (well, time zone anyway!).

  25. +1. And to think -- I came all the way from Europe, and though he was just down the road, he couldn't be bothered to stop by my DZ to say "hi." Talk about feeling unloved. Glad SOMEONE had fun with him! However, I must thank my good pal Ski for helping me out this weekend. Thanks Ski! T shame on him! did you tell him to come play with you? or did he at least give you the option of playing with us in Orlando? I did tell him! I got in Friday night, then had to be at my DZ all day Saturday trying to get current (and sending my nephew through FJC), so I couldn't come up. He also said he wasn't sure how long he was staying, so he may have been gone by then. ... but, still... See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!
