Where is that *^%^%$& friend of mine! It's 9:15, way past 'drunk hour' and I think she's still fighting about going out with the hubby. I left a message that she best sort it out and get her butt out there or I'm starting without her! I grabbed the only beer in the parents' fridge to tide me over...been looking forward to a night out dancing all week dammit! At least Kansas has real beer so the stuff in the fridge and that near-beer stuff. Sorry, just bored! I definately have decided to stop at a DZ on the drive home Monday and make a jump. I'm sorry to all of you that are stuck on the ground right now! At least I can get one or two to tide me over when family business calls! Sexy is a pleasant personality and a sense of humor :) Merrick has actually made fun of my 'tastes in men' on occassion because I would find someone attractive that wasn't 'traditionally' sexy (like Nicolas Cage and the lead singer in Smash Mouth)...it was their personality that made them very sexy. I also have always tended to be attracted to guys that were a bit cocky, but not rudely so. Self-confidence is a major turn-on! Hemp/skydiving jewelry pics!

I second that! I really appreciate when fellow skydivers are so good to the kids. If not for that, Merrick and I wouldn't be able to jump much at all. For the most part, the kids know how to act, and what to watch out for at the DZ, but kids being kids, they get bored and start pestering people sometimes. I try to do the best I can to prevent that, but it's really great when the DZO gives them rides on the golf cart, or friends play or talk to them. ROFL Flyhi! I'm sorry! And to all you Texans that are probably screwed this weekend, sorry to you also! I heard on the weather this morning it's been raining like nuts down there! On the other hand, my weekend isn't going to be any different then those of you not jumping. I'm going up to visit friends and the family this weekend...pay my dues and all. Figure while Merrick is laid up, we'll kill several birds with one stone...take care of all the friends and family while I'm attempting to not jump too much thereby torturing him AND the kids who have to just sit around and watch. I heard something on the radio this morning that made me think of this thread. The youngest boy from Home Improvements is married to a 30 year old and he's only 17! Well, two of mine mean something and one of mine is just art with my tats. The first I got of a little devil because I was always the 'good girl' and am usually quiet around most people unless I really know you. The other is a heart with barbed wire wrapped around it. I got that after a divorce :) It held true until Merrick..no one got thru til him. Now I'm considering changing the wire to vines, or putting wirecutters or something with Merrick's name. I really don't like using names tho, it's bad luck. The last is just pretty...yellow rose, butterflies, vines and such on my shoulder. The best quality one tho. Skymama..don't let my navel thing scare you, K? I just don't heal really well with piercings...even my ears are only pierced once for that reason. My tongue was really easy for some reason, but my nose still bleeds some and is taking a while to heal. They say your overall general health makes a difference. How you're eatting, taking vitamins, getting rest...all of that, and I'm not generally the most healthy living person. Plus my mom is the same way, so I think it's kinda genetics that I just heal slower. Try a gold ring if you can afford it...if I ever did try it again, or my daughter does, I've heard it's much, much better for healing. That's why I got gold with my nose ring. A new page! Not the first time I've heard that about Rigs N' Things! Good to hear of such a nice company to deal with. I will certainly keep that in mind! Does anyone know if they do alterations and repairs to equipment? Dove, hope you get to feeling better very soon. You and Merrick are certainly handling the whole thing extremely well, much better then I would I'm sure. I'd be pouting about not being able to get back up there for a while, yet scared of it too! I felt the same way yesterday Diver..and your post showing I wasn't the only one disgusted with some personalities in the business and the responses it drew really helped. Thank you. I guess it's too much to hope that everyone will be a great person simply because they skydive, even I am not that naive. However, for the most part, I've found skydivers to usually be more open then most, and that thread proved it. Merrick told me yesterday when I was bummed that we started skydiving for US, and because it's what we love. We can't let a few bad experiences ruin this part of our lives that is wonderful overall. And just a note, I also don't consider it bashing if you air your opinion on a subject or the facts of a situation that occurred. This shouldn't be a forum limited to only those 'rose colored moments', but one where we can share helpful hints, advice and simply news. In the end, it's each of our decisions to do with that information as we will. It's like saying that every time you argue with a spouse, it's verbal abuse. Um, no. I can argue with Merrick without being mean and hateful. It's healthy to see all views, sometimes from someone else's eyes. Anyway, just my thoughts. Blue ones guys. A new page! Bi-Plane pics!

OH! And Diva - they can be very tempting to chomp on, but I used to grind my teeth when nervous or stressed anyway, so now I have a barbell instead that I play with. It's something I have to think about NOT doing sometimes...and I also usually have a barbell that doesn't have metal balls too...they aren't quite so bad on the teeth if you accidentally bite one or play with it too much. :) As for the sexual things that are supposed to be better because of a tongue ring...I heard beforehand that they aren't true from others. I have to say that I would agree, since I'm on the giving and receiving end. But I love to kiss someone with one..it's kinda neat, and I think it's sexy looking. As for sagging...I intentionally tried to get parts of my body that hopefully won't sag 'as much', such as not getting something on my butt...but regardless, I don't care if they do too much. They aren't in extremely obvious places when wearing 'normal' clothes and my kids already think I'm weird, so a tattoo'd grandma will be 'par for the course'
