Thank you Fruce and FFP. This is a very personal subject to a larger number of people then anyone would want it to be. I myself have a mother who survived breast cancer, have had a lump removed myself and we just found out a week ago that it's touched another special person in my life. I'm not sure, I think on Good Morning America is where she heard it. *shrug* But they were 'suggesting' we could all get gas masks too as a preventative too yesterday when I listened to it as I was getting ready. I think we've all been there Jeji. Either a bad case of nerves over something that happened before, feeling icky (air will help that btw..hehe) or whatever. Learn to distinguish your feelings of "this just isn't right" that you most definately SHOULD listen to, from "I just don't feel like it" which might be something else. Especially coming off AFF...you haven't had a lot of JFFJ (Just For Fun Jumps). I totally agree that you need one badly! Do a fun exit you particularly like then just screw around, flips whatever...whatever sounds fun. Not trying to learn or accomplish anything (though you just might anyway

Has anyone else heard what my mom called to tell me this morning, that now they are saying that along with the terrorists allegedly trying to get cropdusters, they were also allegedly trying to learn to skydive?? What the hell are they gonna do with that knowledge...other then maybe strap a bomb onto themselves and launch in somewhere. Ah well, probably just rumors, but I hope it doesn't affect us again, especially since this will be the first weekend we can jump for two months (so call me selfish ) Just one jump at least...please?! Bwahaha! Sorry, that's hilarious! Better 'fess up dude. Not like they won't ever find out. How old are you btw? You might end up needing their help to buy your rig after you graduate, so might as well start working on them now :) Oh, and make sure they get enough information about skydiving if you talk to them about it. Have answers available, and perhaps the number to the DZ, so they can ask further questions you might not be able to answer. Most people's fears come from lack of information, about more then just skydiving. The stories the newspapers write about accidents and fatalities in skydiving doesn't help, either. "..died when their parachute failed." We all know it's a bit more then that. That's why everyone asks, "So what will you do if your parachute doesn't open?!" Good luck! P Hemp/skydiving jewelry pics!
