It appears that Merrick will be down in Dallas overnight Thursday, and I want him to go jump while he's there. Are they open on Thursdays, first of all. And secondly, here's the glitch ... his reserve is out-of-date and we hate to get it repacked right now since he's hoping to have the rig sold very soon, and it'll just get unpacked again when they take out the Cypress that's not going with it, so what does it cost to rent one there, or does anyone have one they are willing to let him borrow? The other thread of Jessica's has gotten me yearning again to do more CReW. I'm wondering if we can have a CReW forum? I realize that we have a swoop/canopy control one already, but that's a bit too non-specific and CReW questions might get lost in it. It would be great to have a place where we can hook up with some other CReW people, get advice and maybe even get a chance to talk to people that might be willing to do it with us when at a common DZ. Very cool!! CReW rocks!! I've only gotten to do it once, and it was amazing! Very odd to be sitting on someone's canopy and grabbing it so forcefully. The worst thing about it is trying to find experienced people to do it with again later...the guy who did it with me was my coach and it was my graduation jump (cool eh?!) , but he's now finishing school to be a doctor (a skydiving doctor?!) Anyways! We'll have to find someplace nearby that will teach us more and meet up there to learn it! Closing pin jewelry
