Just paid a $248 speeding ticket here in TX. Was not a happy camper. After the damn dude gave me the ticket he got all suspicious b/c he saw my new Digitude sittin in the seat.I have no clue what he thought it was, but I had to waste an extra 10 mins. of my life explaining what it was for and how it worked. Of course this was after the initial "you do what?" (followed by a blank stare) when I told him I skydive and it was a piece of jump equiptment.I had to show him my logbook before he finally believed me and would let me go. (You think the 2 skydiving bumper stickers and 2 Skydive Aggieland decals woulda tipped him off!)Damn wuffo! Anyone else had anything similar happen? "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

Yeah, I cant wait to jump it!She gave me the suit a few weeks ago but I haven't been able to jump it or my new altimeter because I've been sick. Oh well, hopefully that will change this weekend.

Well, she did. *shrug* She gave her semi-new(in great condition) Michigan suit to a very broke,struggling,fellow skychick...me! She also promised to take care of any alterations that needed to be done (just a bit too tight in the shoulders and knees). I just wanted to say thank you to this very remarkable chick for helping me through alot of very rough times lately and that it has been a pleasure and honor to have such a great friend.(Thank you, April! *HUG*)Its people like April, Perry(...thanks for doing the canopy course at Aggieland!) Kris and so many others I've met who really make this sport great for all of us by teaching, sharing knowledge or just helping someone who is new or someone who just needed a friend. Please don't forget the little people, because everyone has been there a time or two.Take time today to say thank you to those that have left their imprint on you life and have helped you on your way to becoming who you are today.
