I live about 60 miles south of Dallas/Ft Worth. I was at Skydive Dallas this weekend. We werent too far from each other.Yeah the weather has been nice here (almost midnight here now and its 65 degrees) but its been a bit windy too.*shrug* "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

Overall,this year has sucked,but there are a few good highlights. Got engaged--thought that was a good thing at the time.It wasnt and I got my heart broken.Not sure I'm fully recovered from that yet. Had alot of financial,health,and emotional trouble this year.Still struggling with that. Went back to school--good thing but it isnt going well so this might turn out bad. Moved into a new house. Injured my knee. Blew the opportunity to have a job in my chosen career field (that I have been going to school for). Started skydiving--VERY GOOD THING! Made my first tandem,first solo, first boogie and graduated AFF.Still working on my A,but doubt I'll have it by the end of the year.

Cool! I have had several invites to the Houston DZs.I'm about do several SDU coaching jumps and a few other things to really build up my skills.Maybe after I'm happier with my abilities I'll make my way down that direction.

Thanks Canuck.I can use all the vibes I can get. Just so this wasnt misconstrued I meant this post as a "good-vibe-hope-everyone-has-a-great-day" type thing.I wasnt trying to whine.I was just amazed that,even though things arent at their best in my life,I still managed to have a smile on my face and be in a good mood.
