I originally started The Moon is a Harsh Mistress as my first Heinlein but never finished it.We moved apartments and then now we're in the middle of a divorce and a "maybe get back together/cancel the divorce" phase so I never finished it. I liked Tom Clancy up through Rainbow Six but then he just got annoying to me b/c he details you to death describing every little shape of every little nut and screw connected to every valve of every pannel of every hull of every ship yadda yadda yadda....he detailed me to death!Some people like that though *shrug* "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

So this family of bluebirds has moved into one of the birdhouses in our yard.Well, the male bird has decided to "defend his territory" and take care of the female by pecking and attacking our windows and doors b/c they are polarized and thus mirrored,so it looks like hes fighting another bluebird to him.This little peckerhead has woken me up at 6AM every morning for almost a week!Its like Chinese water torture...then just about the time you think hes gone....PECK PECK PECK!!!!!
