I have a wrist mounted GPS (Garmin Foretrex 301) and I want to play around with ground speed under canopy. First of all I realise it is a distraction and needs to be recognised as such. When I jump it, I will do a solo H&P at altitude so traffic won't be a problem. One thought that I have had is that I could wear it under my jumpsuit, reducing the snag potential and distraction and simply grab the data retrospectively. I'll probably do this first regardless. I know people are using GPS with wingsuits but there isn't much on GPS and canopy flight. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

does that mean you didn't get a blowjob ? Wouldn't even want to try. My wife would be extremely pissed. So correct no BJ Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

Hey Shah, explain that. Come on you've got use a good source for pictures of someone like her. http://www.playboy.com/girl/cindy-crawford/ Quite obvious from the link but Playboy is probably considered NSFW Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

Some advice - it is damn expensive to fall asleep in a drunken stupor and miss your stop on the last train of the night But it was still a good evening. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

thanks for the replies. I really like the idea of packing the pilot chute in the main tray. The suggestions of leaving it unpacked aren't always practical - much more maneagable packed. As I will be sharing my gear with my wife, it is important. Just because I know what state it is in, doesnt mean she would in the future. I'll be ordering a bunch of stows tomorrow so that I am not caught short again. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

well the the dipshits who think engineering chicks suck are wrong. Just spent a delightful night out with an engineering chick friend in London. Titties to die for, intelligent, part time model, scuba diver. Fucking class a night on the town with copius amount of rum on my part! Overall ace evening with a cool chick... I have packed my rig today, but have 3 or 4 broken bungees and also had problems getting slippery zp into the bag. The result is a closed container but the 'packjob' is unjumpable. What is a good way to ensure in future that you dont forget and jump the rig? There is no danger at the moment as the reserve is out of date. I am just pre-empting the day in the future where a similiar situatuon may occur. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

We don't tend to do much for Christmas as having kids tends break the bank. Birthdays it depends on cash flow or our needs. In general we give each other 1 special present a year - this year my wife got the better deal (AFF & trip to the US), I got the money to get snipped and some tunnel time Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

Very strange and surreal time. My wife and kids are at 'home' 10 000 miles away in Oz. I am now 'home' in the the UK for 4 weeks. Yesterday I was jogging on the beach at 26 celsius, today pissing down and 4 degrees back in old blightey. I am also officially homeless for the next 4 weeks. Life is sick and twisted in that 3 single women have all offered to put me up... Why didnt that happen when I was single? As i value my man bits I have no intention of taking the offers up - wife let me know the cost in advance... So stuck with being a mommies boy for a while :)

It is definately a big problem. In adults I am pretty sure finance or the lack of it plays a part. I think overcrowding, debt, and computer games are all major parts of the picture. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

It could be better diagnosis. Of course it may also be that since I am an in-patient in a mental health hospital most of my neighbours have problems Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

I watched them protect an entire planeload of passengers by disarming a kids 9" GI Joe. Apparently a 2" plastic M-60 still qualifies as a replica. I saw the same behavior, at Charleston, SC, over a key chain that had a two inch, bright orange and yellow Buck Rodgers space pistol on it as a fob. Perhaps pre employment interviews at TSA should be ramped up a notch or so... to include a common sense category. What's even cooler is when I get upgraded to first class I (sometimes) get to enjoy a half-way decent meal. It comes complete with a nice linen napkin set that contains a set of metal tableware (knife included). I actually welcome the slow return to sanity. About a year ago I started getting metal cutlery on the flight regularly (BA). Have also seen the gradual return of metal cutlery in airports. I am sorry but I am often wary of these people who have problems with TSA etc. I travel alot and so far haven't had problems. I do wonder if these people are attention whores, who tell half a story. I have seen minor stupidity and quite often rudeness. I hate Chicago for their stupidity. I saw them make a young foreign kid, who was possibly 6-10 years old go through the passport check alone. He couldn't speak english was obviously distressed at being separated from his mother. But the SIGN said one person at a time. Also at Chicago stupid TSA wench suddenly starts screaming and clapping. Long queue of rather irate people, but some celebrity had arrived at the back of the queue. They queue jumped whoever the hell it was and fast tracked him through At Fort Worth airport I asked the TSA agent about a 30cm firelighter that looked like an M16 that our boys had bought. She said it wasn't a problem at all and not to worry. Only an idiot would be concerned with it. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

Fascinating thread. You can just about feel the excitement

I am not entirely sure if this is relevant to the OP's question. Personally tunnel time made me a safer and more confident skydiver. I learn't through static line progression. I found freefall stability extremely difficult and as a result I was always mentally overloaded. The lack of awareness and mental overload reduced my capacity to jump safely. When I got back into jumping, I had a reasonable amount of tunnel time and I KNEW that I could get stable within 1/2 a second or so. The result was that I was much more relaxed and therefore more aware of my surroundings. But as so many people have said in this thread, the two are completely different. I have been putting significant thought into this. While I like the idea of slow (deep brake) turns, it bothered me that it increases the chance of a collision with someone who is nearby and doing the same. However if you fly straight, then the opportunities for a potential collision widen to include the entire load. With suitable exit separation between groups and adopting turns you should only be at risk from your own group. Do you really want to end up flying up or down jump run straight into other groups? Like most things it is going to be driven by circumstance. You are probably better off flying straight if you have jumped from a 182, into a DZ with lots of outs. If you have exited an Otter or have a DZ with limited outs then slow turns are probably best. As usual having a plan, communicating it and then sticking to it helps. Thanks for the details. Is this going to be phased in for C&D licenses as well? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived. -
I'm certain she has posted pics of herself in her leathers in the past. No if some kind soul would find them for us... +1 Before and after pics would be good to. (That is before putting the leathers on...) Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

DSE I'm not sure if you are right. I used to believe Shah was trolling for shits and grins. But he does come across as having severe anger and self image issues. He is an engineer and he hates them. Maybe it is the same with women - persian ladyboy maybe? Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

Do you like them raw? I do a great raw beet salad - I shred them in my food processor and toss them with some thinly-sliced red onion, chopped walnuts, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper, then top with some crumbled goat cheese. Yum! That sounds yummy!

Yip. The number of times that I had really shitty individuals try and get me injured or killed. Deliberately blocking the gap at the last minute etc. I had one guy cross the lane from the opposite direction to force my up against a car Back on topic to Nataly in her tight leathers though
