Might get away with it, but also depends on where you are. If you are in a humid area maybe you'll be okay, but in a dry climate I'll wish ya g'luck! I had the joy of experiencing a full fitting main pulse 150 and full fitting reserve OP143 in a V308 and even jumping it in humid florida.....wow brick for sure and packing... well lets just say some packers wouldn't even do it for $10 a pack job. Never again but thats just my take, learned my lesson always will go standard fitting For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

Best Tracking Suit = Pressurized VS. Phoenix-Fly VS. Intrudair
mchamp replied to LiborJanicek's topic in Gear and Rigging
More people are wearing Intrudair because the event occurred in the country it is originated/built in. Also Pressurized Tube 2 isn't a fair comparison since the 2 is quite a few years old. It would have been better to have compared it to a Tube 3. Same could be said to Phoenix Fly. Overall I'd like to see the results of equal amount of Intrudair, Phoenix Fly, and Pressurized tracking suits at a global tracking event with all the most recent updated suits. Now those stats would be more meaningful. For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp -
V3M series VS Micron Actually, the shape of the container is the difference between the Micron and the M-Series. The Micron is more of a rectangular shape. It is the same size (or close to the same size) shoulder to shoulder as it is Hip to Hip. The M-Series is more of a Trapezoid with the container narrower at the shoulders and wider at the hips. For example the V306 and V336 hold basically the same canopies: The V306 Micron is 10" wide at the shoulder and the Hips, 16" tall, and 5" Deep The V336 M-Series is 10" wide at the shoulders, 12" wide at the hips, 19 inches Tall, and 3.5" deep. anyone know much about liquid eyewear sunglasses
mchamp replied to jtfreefly's topic in Gear and Rigging
Interesting! I've tried on quite a few goggles/shades for use while skydiving and I have yet to come across a pair of shades that I could use with an open face comfortably. I wear contacts and have a small(er) face will demo these glasses as soon as I get a chance to from friends or whatnot and see if I can actually wear an open face with shades without worrying about losing a contact in freefall! $800 plane ticket and $80 lift tickets? Skip that place and spend $1,000 on a plane ticket to California or Hawaii if you're in Japan and you can buy lift tickets for $25 or $22 each if you buy in bulk! Or even $15 at Lodi That's of course if you are planning on jumping hardcore for a couple weeks. If you only plan on doing under 20 then I'd say just wait to save up some more cash and then do Cali as you'll save yourself the extra $200 that it costs more to go to cali within 4 jumps! Wish you fun and safe jumping soon! For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

Could you please elaborate further upon the "number of features and construction methods I haven't seen on any other rig that are really cool. " ? For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

Probably noticed it(began to fade) after around 1yr and 200 jumps ish Now at 500 jumps in 2 yrs (purchased rig in March 2010 new) this is what it looks like, and I always pack in the shade and keep in in my closet when not in use and also scotchguarded it when I after I bought it. Top right corner vs the rest since that tid bit is always covered by the riser covers All neon fabric will fade, but looks amazing initially! lol For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

Yup, find the holes and shove it up in there! haha But yes, those slots were intended for your audibles. I have a Optima which fits in there just fine. Initially might take a little finessing, but it'll be nice and secure in there. For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

Cookie G2 discontinued and replaced with the G3
mchamp replied to davevans's topic in Gear and Rigging
Cookie and all other helmet manufacturer's take note! Contrary to what everyone says, now there is "FOG PROOF" and let's see this potentially implemented into the skydiving helmet realm where visors would NEVER even have a chance of fogging even without any ventilation ! http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2012/glare-dust-and-fog-free-glass-0426.html For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp -

The famous Nick Vujicic (great motivational speaker) is currently getting measured for a customized harness to (hopefully) do a Tandem in DeLand, Florida on the April 24th thanks to and by none other than UPT ! Jeb does wear this regularly for his BASE jumps. Roberta M. gave these things a try and said was simply too big for her face and would come off. Guess it can't quite fit everyone's head. Big chunk of change to potentially buy and not have it fit properly! pic taken from her page For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

I haven't logged in my manual log book for the past 300 jumps. I find it rather pointless since my handwriting is essentially illegible and takes much more time too so why bother? I use the electronic logbook, takes less time, legible to everyone and easy to look up specific jumps like FF or wingsuiting, reserve repack reminder, your lowest pull or highest pull, highest exit altitude, keep track of cutaways if any......you get the point. Just back up a copy to your comp/harddrive/icloud and you'll never have to worry about "losing" your logbook. Paris is a real tunnel, it is one of the earlier Cali Tunnels and there is no shortage of world class and proven coaches there. Paris, never saw a fun factor killing rule there. Maybe stayhigh meant "rules" in general? As in Paris has some basic safety ones. I personally would pick Elsinore or Paris. Matt There is a tunnel in Paris? ok ok everyone knows what you mean Fallout: By fake tunnel I believe he meant underpowered compared to other newer tunnels. For people who don't have too much TT or don't weigh too much its really not a big deal In terms of Perris killing the fun factor I believe stay higher is a CP/swooper? and there are NO hook turns allowed that are above 90 degrees. In other words people who are looking to swoop go elsewhere for bigger rotations. For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

Could you post the link as to where you saw this info? I was invited to a boogie event in Indonesia few months back. Since there is no full time DZ this is what they do few times a year instead of traveling outside the country all the time to jump. Saves a lot of money....for them at least From what I've heard at least from the last event that I was invited to was that they had only had a single porter which got 12k They were charging $55 USD per lift ticket For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

So the chincup is not as a stable plateform as the Vapor Pro's headstrap correct? Anyone have any pics of the installed cutaway system on the Vapor Pro? The shark just looks nice and its makes life easier to transfer my optima from a video jump to a fun jump without having to go through all the padding. Only thing I'm concerned with is that I'd like to mount a gopro on the front for backup incase the video decides to randomly shut off and it just doesn't look feasible since its curved. I'd really like to get my hands on both of those helmets before I depart with a decent chunk of change so I could compare apples to apples, but doesn't look like I'll able to do so :( The shark is too new and not many people in the states wear TonFly's. Have seen sonic's setup looks nice though For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp

Cutaways/Reserve rides..Who's the king of Chops
mchamp replied to trigger's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I know a guy back at my old DZ that had 30 ish unintentional cutaways and that was ONLY on his tandems alone, mainly tension knots, not sure of how many on his sport rig. He had around 8,000 ish jumps. @oblixtim: not sure if we're talking about the same guy or not!
