Scariest thing I saw involved a father (long time jumper) and his son (obviously forced into it by his dad) hooking up the son's new canopy to his rig...kid had maybe 40 jumps or so, would play gameboy, set it down to jump with his father, and pick it back up right after landing... Anyway, son has his rig on, dad says "okay, pull your cutaway so we can disconnect your old main and get the new one on"...kid looks at his handles, guesses, pulls silver, pilot chute launches, every's jaws drop, DZO grounded him...

I used to "run" the Twitter for the local DZ I jumped at in college...I'd make the occasional post or reply to people, but I'm long removed from the DZ and so is the original website creator. I still follow it on Twitter, thankfully I set it up to link with the Facebook account that just posts links to their Facebook posts.. Could be a really good marketing tool for bigger DZ's (I think a few have Twitter accounts). Smaller? I don't see the point.

After spending hours a day, losing multiple properties, and stressin out, I finally found a new place for my partner and I!! Within 48 hours of seeing a posting, we toured the house and signed a lease! Tons of space for my partner and I, great price, beautiful features, great location, and we can rent the 2nd bedroom to a friend! We move in June 1st, any skydivers wanna join us for a kegger to welcome us to the neighborhood? Have a good weekend everybody!

That's in Telluride, same thing happened to me a few weeks ago on Andy's Gold near that same trail....took a wrong turn around a tree, slid down a cliff, blew out the edge on my brand new snowboard, and wound up with a sprained ACL and PCL.

I posted it awhile ago but here's what mine came out to for a healthy, non smoking 24 year old male in Colorado $145.70 a month, $5,000 deductible... I wasn't too thrilled to HAVE to buy coverage, but now am glad I at least have something....too bad it's a fucking nightmare with the state exchange and my insurance provider. Over 2 months have gone by, 2 premiums paid, and I'm technically still not in the system (they are having volume issues matching payments to accounts). As luck would have it, me running my stupid mouth about how healthy I am and don't need coverage, the 2nd day after my plan started I sprained my ACL and PCL snowboarding in Telluride. Still didn't have my insurance card (even tough they took my money), so I basically had to go the Kaiser P's headquarters and demand my coverage start since they took my money and I had everything on my end in line... If I call KP, they have to contact the state exchange...If I call the state exchange, they have to call KP....it's just been a nightmare dealing with these damn companies... Lesson learned? Register to vote.....

Maybe they just haven't had the right one. Back in the day there was a place in Montgomery that served a warm cream cheese brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. IIRC they also had the best apple pie I've ever had. Hm. Now I want to do some baking . I think I could get pretty close to their result without a huge amount of effort, but that's not really a super power I'd want to have. It would definitely screw up my wing loading. Nooo!! Believe me I've eaten enough brownies! It's seems when people find out someone dislikes brownies they just HAVE to make some from grandma's recipe that they are positive is the best one in the world!! People I dislike brownies and there's not a recipe in the world that will make me like them. Ive found a place in Denver that makes unbelievable brownies....
