the only problem I have with that is that I should not have to tip anyone to get a reliable pack job!!! A reserve repack that costs 10$ (hypathetical) should be jsut as good as a repack that cost 100$....If I have to tip a rigger to feel I got a good pack job then I'm not going to usr that rigger!!! jason

Dont have an RSL (weighed the pros and cons and for me just didnt want one) and I dont have an AAD. Will I ever get one (AAD) maybe...but right now I dont feel the need to spend the money.....I know Iknow....you wnat to ask "well isnt your life worth 900$???" hell yeah my lifes worth 900$.....but my bank account isnt !!

I just purchased the new style aviator helmut with the internal Audible ports and love it!!!! The fit is really comfortable and when the Protrack is in place you can't even feel it. (It use to push up against my ear in the PROTEC) Plus you dont have to worry about it getting smacked off your helmut by risers, or worry about PLFing and rolling on your AUD during a crash landing!!! IT comes with velcro strips some you can really secure your AUD in the port, but it fits so well in there I dont even have to use them. Just slide it in and out and it WILL stay in place behind the pad. I personlly think the internal ports are the way to go!! Plus the helmut feels pretty good and solid. I mean yes it may not be as hard a protec but it feels like it can take a good beating and you'll still come out in good shape!!! Anyway a great helmut for the price and good protection for your melon and Audible. [shameless plug for lisa] pick one up at square1.com[shameless plug for lisa]!!

I notice all the time when someone has a question most of the responces start out "well I'm no expert" or "I only have ### jumps so I'm not an expert but "......so where are the experts. I mean when do people consider themselevs to give expert advice? Are ther any true experts in this sport? I mean if you know your shit, and back it 100% then bring it on. I figure someone with thousands of jumps should be able to consider themselves experts in something of this sport. I mean you dont hear micheal jordan saying "well I'm no expert in basketball but I think..." ....hell no....He knows his shit and will tell you!!! You dont have to be cocky or egotistical to know your shit....So alls I'm saying is if you know your shit ..tell us.....theres nothing wrong with being an "EXPERT". I consider a lot of people on this site to be experts and give "expert" advice!!!! DISCLAIMER: I on the other hand am not an expert jason

Thats the problem...there are a million combinations one cant go wrong with....and there are a million that one can.......the clieche (sp) around here is fly a few canopies before you by anything and talk to the people you jump with. jason

Best thing to do...ask your DZ (people at our DZ). People that know your skill level are better to ask. There is also a lot of info here if you look around. Basically in a nut shell canopies are measured in square ft 170 = 170sqft and so on. The smaller the canopy usaully the faster the ride depending on wing loading....and theres a whole other thread to talk about....just look around this sight and tons of your ???will be answered!!! jason

Well its obvious whats wrong.....first there are no drapes hanging on the rods over the window....plus there looks like there are records or magazines to close to the heater....thats a fire hazard... jason (i dont have sound on my comp at work so I guess Ididnt get the full affect)
