I remember him makinga post a long time ago saying he wasnt going to be posting here for a while cause he was sick of all he BS that was going on (flame wars). I guess I've never had it!!! Lowest pull was at 2700ft.......and didnt have any problems.......possibly cuase I was too busy watching for people in the 12way we attempted!! Thats OK though...if I havent experianced it then I must not be going too low for abilities!! jason

Yeah thata what I watched...the sad thing is I watched it (voice over) right after I got done watching the movie!!!! I still think its the best skkydiving movie yet. Had the most realistic shit!!! jason

Why would rolling the nose cuase a hard opening. I was also told on a pyscho pack never to roll the nose cause it could do the same thing...why is that!!??? jason

Well it doesnt sound like your really giving up !! I mean why do you think should give up. Sounds to me that the only problems your having are work and weather and hell we all have that problem.....The only reason I could see someone should quit is because they dont feel safe about jumping (being able to handle themselves ) or they just flat run out of $$$, and even then they dont have to quit....just save for a while!!! Took me a year to save up. You abviuosly love to jump or you wouldnt have spent the time and money coming back to the sport ......But in the end you gotta do what you gotta do....... jason

I wear a helmut even if I'm jumping by my self....Its not just in FF you can get hurt..what about landing...if I come in hot and PLF it at least I have something to protec my melon from smacking the ground!!! jason

It is steven baldwin, and yes he does have his A lic. Durring the making of "cutaway" he did over 50 skydives to get the shots they needed for the movie!! He also has over 4 hrs in the windtunnel at fort bragg!! He said said he wishes he had more time to jump but he does jump enough to stay current..........Soryy, I watche dhis comentary on the movie!! SAtill ya gotta respect the guy somewhat...I mean yeah a lot of actors have went on tandems and stuff abut how many are actually skydivers....even if there acting leaves little to be desired!! jason

I havnt really seen a big turnover rare at our DZ, but i have seen a lot of students go through and then never show up again. I mean its like where did they all go?? jason

Hey gus ,,just to let you know I'll be packing a hornet 150 (335 pk vol) into a Talon 2 min pk vol 406 ish. I called RI and they said it wont be a problem, jsut shorten up the loop!!! jason

Well I guess I'll add my .02 .....I currnetly have 71 jumps and am awaiting a new main, downsizing form a 170 f-111 to hornet 150. Right now I am not looking to start doing any 180+ swoops but I am wanting to get into the front riser approaches, then get nto the 90 degree and so on. I know this sounds really quick but I am in Know rush to get to the 360's. I'm starting off really small, been already picking the brains at our DZ and am ready to learn. I know its an added risk but this is what I want to learn.......we have a REALLY big landing area so other traffic will not be a problem plus we are a cessna DZ so you never really have a crowded space . anyway theres my .02!!!! jason -
Ok ..this is good........First if I promised the guy with 25$ I'd get the job done at a certain time then he would get his job done before anyone else no matter what the pay. That is just how I work. If I tell someone I'm going to do something I do it! NOW if all the jobs are just setting there in NO perticular order then yes I would probably get the guy who payed the 50 to get his job done and back to him quick HOWEVER his job would have been done no better then the people that payed 25$. If the job requires I build a box 9x9x9 box then thats waht you get ,,,, a quaility box 9x9x9. The only thing the more $$$ will get you is a box in quicker time. Unless someone elses box was scheduled before you !!!! Alls I know is that I wouldnt go to a rigger whos sign said Repacks:45$ Repacks that open:60$ repacks that open and wont MAL: 100$ Yes I see your point but I hope you can some what see mine!!!
