I do not assume that everyone ends up with one person in the end... I said that humans are "mate-for-life" animals! Thus, the ideal is for each one person, to find their one counterpart. I'm well aware that some people make their own arrangements. I'm also well aware that "Variety is the spice of life" (well put Clay ). And I'm also well aware that some end up alone . However, this does not change the fact that HomoSapiens are "mate-for-life"! That is what the majority of us do naturally... not by choice. No, as far as physical pleasure goes, maybe. But even while not knowing you, I can say with certainty that you would not be EQUALLY happy with a man or a woman. One person will make you happy and others will not be able to contend! And until you find that PERSON, you will continue to experiment, trying to find him/her (even "it" if that's what your into...j/k ) This is not the homo way, it is not the hetero way, it is THE way. (I was going to say God's way but who are we kidding? We make the rules as we go right?) It is not my assumption that "bi-sexuals" must have both at the same time. All I say is that, in the long run, you will spend your life looking for that one person. When you find that one person, there will be no straying (In a perfect world). Thus, you will no longer be able to call yourself "Bi"... Not actively anyway. No it's not. You don't have innate sexual attractions for both sexes. Which isn't to say that they aren't real... Just out of curiousity, how old are you now? I only ask this because I'm not sure I knew who I was at 17! I'm 23 now and still am not positive of "who" I am! ??? Everybody knows that it "trendy" to be gay in certain areas. Everybody knows that it is "trendier in others. I remember going to visit a friend of mine, deep in the village, in Montreal. He was going to McGuill University and had gotten into a 'click' with many gay people. He wasn't gay, but living in the middle of the village, I remember him introducing me to friends:"Hey, this is my friend Nick"... followed by what shocked me near-dead: "He's straight but he's a pretty cool guy." WHAT! BUT??? I almost shit myself from laughter before I saw that most of the friends he was talking to were taking him seriously and looking at me in a you're lucky he said you were cool. type of way... disgusting As far as Increased Gays = Lower Population ? Though it is possible for gay couples to "obtain" a child, it is INpossible for them to create one. Thus, another obstacle in the already complexe ordeal of reproducing. Deep in the village in Montreal, where the Gay population is in the high nineties, I don't think there are as many Babies being born as say, here in Markham, the quiet Ontario Suburb where I live. In fact, If placing bets for the "lowest babies per capita" cities, I Know you would put your money on the ones you know to be primarily GAY! By that science, I would have to say that an increase in the gay popula would definately mean a lower futur-population. IMHO, this is not right, not right at all. You know, I've read a lot of comics with gay characters... Granted they weren't the MAIN characters but to me, having a GAY main character is not that big a deal. What I do think is a big deal is taking an old character, already established, with his own fan base, and deciding: "Well, let's make him Gay now."... Of course, the rights below to the original artist and he doesn't seem to mind. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
