True, I could find an old stock Pimp Daddy but I most definately want the audible inside the helmet. It just makes more sense to me. You can protect you audible with carbon fiber... or neoprene. As an update, I've chosen the FF1 by 2k composites. Their newest model looks just like the PimpDaddy Mindwarp and it has two internal audible holders. I'll be contacting them today. Well in that case mama, I am one who beleive All life is equally valuable. Not just human life. That's right, the life of the fly buzzing around your head is just as valuable as YOUR life in my mind. That doesn't mean that it would be tough for me if, for some whacked reason, I was forced to make the decision between taking your life or the fly's. Same thing goes for the mugger and the one being robbed. The 'Value' of their 'life' is the same. However, the 'value' of their lives is not what should be questioned. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the golden words here are "The lesser of two evils". The terrorist is actually commiting heinous acts and spreading evil. People don't like to use the words "good" and "evil" anymore because they have gotten so much harder to define ever since the Devil made us all beleive he doesn't exist. Abortion is a human invention. All other animals on this planet kill babies that they cannot support or do not want AFTER they are born. It is Natural however. Pro choice. Has it not occured to anyone that the naming of popular B.A.S.E sites on public forums may be against B.A.S.E etiquette because B.A.S.E jumping is mostly illegal and B.A.S.E jumpers don't want to get caught at their favorite places? I really don't think it's because they're afraid of whuffos and skydivers going there and hurting themselves. I mean, as Narcimund has cleverly and amusingly stated: if a whuffo wants to jump off an object and get hurt, they are all over the place! And if a skydiver wants to do a B.A.S.E jump, they won't have a hard time finding the hot locations... or training for that matter. The jumps from the space needle in Seatle were Legal so I don't think the majority of B.A.S.E jumpers were upset to find the location blurted out on National TV. Bridge day is another good example. If heard about a rig that had a Pepsi spilled on it. It was quickly wipped off I guess and the jumper was never made aware. Any ideas on what happens to a packed reserve combined with pepsi? Basically you get a plastic-looking brick. Buddy goes for a repack and a lump of melted, fused fabric comes out... It was not salvageble, you couldn't even unfold it! Skydiving is seasonal here in Ontario, and we have a six month repack cycle. Thus, a lot of people can get away with one repack a year! Do it once it warms up enough and you likely wont expire until winter. I've seen a lot of poeple pencil-pack if they expire and still have a few weeks of decent weather.... This makes sense to me. I've seen folks do it if they're pulling their rig out of the closet in the middle of winter to make a 'crazy-cold' jump... This does not. Personally, I just got my rig last summer so I have not yet been faced with this decision. I'm pretty sure though, that I will continue to get my repacks done on time unless it's the "couple more weeks and that's it for the year" situation. The Mindwarp comes with a hard audible pocket but their site says they will sell you 'soft' ones for secondary audibles... Of all the sports I've participated in, the one that reminds me most of skydiving is the Pole Vault. Well at least in terms of the people doing it... To a normal person, a pole vaulter is just a little off-centre or a little on the crazy side. The sport is competitive but I've never jumped against anyone who wasn't thrilled to have met me and jumped with me. The crowd is a tight-nit community-styled group and everyones in competing more with themselves than anyone else. (My highest was 4.15 meteres) I've been involved in many different Martial Arts for as long as I remember. I was never a big team-sport buff but played Rugby thruought High school and LOVED it! (Fly/Scrum half - I know that's a bit of an odd combo) Edit: Oh and I ski and snowboard... Good thread! My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!

Easy girl! I didn't bash anyone... Just couldn't get hold of Bonehead and was expressing it as I figured a few dot commers would be able to tell me why. I.E. "There's nobody there right now... the'll be back X/X." or something like that. No big deal, I'm sure their customer service is excellent!
