Turbo fan goggles for skydiving - silly idea?

let us know how it goes, but realize if you try to go head down the fan wont work....if you want, you can take off your goggles under canopy too. IHYD -
the original viso is mounted with strings or zip ties, both are quite reliable. just if you use the string make sure its tight and you are using the wax string and not just normal string (for best results). im sure teh viso 2 is the same mounting with the only thing being different is the waterproofing. IHYD

are other rigs packed by that rigger going to be checked? seems like a pretty serious issue especially on a student rig... what is the normal course of action over something like this, do you go back and speak to the rigger and teach him what he did wrong? IHYD -

Discussion - iFly or Perris?

at your point in your career both are excellent choices, they will both teach you belly skills just fine, just let them know you are going to the tunnel to get you ready for AFF, they will treat you differently. both tunnel's coaches are awesome people. you are right about iFly being a little more corporate, IBA (international bodyflight association) while perris follows the same progression they are not apart of it, thats why they are cheaper for the most part. i would say if you are at the DZ go to perris and if you are at home go to iFly...you wont be disapointed, 10-15min of flying before you go do AFF and you will be solid for it. well i live right next to one in mission valley and when i go to enter the first sticker i notice is a "Skydiver girls" sticker, pretty nifty IMO, just thought i would throw it out there. IHYD

6way out a skyvan, 4 way turning points+1 camera man + 1 other camera man...the 5 hop on spinny chairs before they exit and get dizzy...then jump out, should be interesting.... *WARNING* do spins on ground first and if it takes anymore than 40sec to recover...dont spin as much! IHYD

unless you are going to do a lot of HP landings dont get HMA, they wear out the quickest but you cant see the wear so all of a sudden, snap! i would say go with the spectra, 500 or 750 is up to you, i would go 750 just b/c there is no need to go smaller at your experience level...mine either and you might as well get strong. thats my .02 FWIW.
