I've seen more Javelins ordered and sent back with complaints. Loose pin covers, riser covers, ill fitting. Get real. Get better. Sunpath has oversold and their quality control has gone to shit. If you order one you will send it back. Good look. Think RWS for total qualit control Unravelin-Javelin. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

From my own experience I found the SDU Coaches to be much better than your average AFF coach (and I'm not dissing AFF Coaches I love all of them). When I was a student I did a couple of coach jumps with an SDU Coach at my DZ and found that from briefing to debriefing her style made such a huge impact that I just wanted to keep going back to her. A choice you don't always have as a student. We discussed and worked on muscle memory. Not only the propper body positon but the right mind set. She made the task challanging but not impossible. Then reviewed in an open manner and encouraged my feedback and explained what I didn't understand. I took part in the Search last February and found all the coaches I dealt with there to be equally great. I had more than the average amount of jumps but that didn't matter. I still got more than I hoped for out of it. The best thing about the Search to me was that you had an entire room of coaches to use. Pick their brains ask for their different opinions. If I ever make that leap to coaching I will certainly be an SDU coach as well. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

I have my temporary main really stuffed into my temporary container and while we were able to close it the pin is SUPER tight. Now I only plan on doing hop and pops on this thing so would you share your opinions on how tight is too tight or whether this will be a safety problem. Thanks. Always appreciate it.

Amen, brother. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
-
Tell you what. Since I know you NEED to see me I'll be there both days. YOU'RE WELCOME!!! "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
-
Thanks. I'll give it a shot on the new one. I'll do it with smarter people than me so I can keep an eye on everything. Thanks again. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

KENTUCKY!!! What's up Champ!ClassARSL. That bad boy's not coming in until 12/6! But my new FF suit came in and I'm picking it up tomorrow. I'm second guessing the color locations though. But it's FREE! Or a gift or something like that. It's going to be sunny tomorrow but windy. I need to get some last jumps in on the 150 before I jump out with a 135 stapped to my back! Will you be there tomorrow? You know...in Billy's backyard? "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

Cool, PZ. Just began reading the first link but now when Grandma asks (honestly her name is Nana, but you get the picture) I can explain it's "high tenacity nylon" with "enhanced polymer technology." Seriously, Thank. I'll give it a read this wet weekend. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
-
So what exactly are our canopies made of. What's the name of the material. Nylon? But not like the nylon a woman slips on her leg so what is it? I did a forums search and came up with nothing. Any clues? I'd just write PD but this place seems to have some pretty smart folk so let's have at it. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

Ooookkkkk.... I want in on konw how. How do I clean my cutaway housings and/or cables? Every 30 days? Seems like a lot. Now I move my rings around and flex the fabric but do you cut away the main to do it? Love my sport. LOVE my rig. Want to keep healthy. Please educate. Anything else...? "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

I 100% agree with Bill as well. I've seen very high timers have their cypress fire because of dead batteries in their audibles. Twice, but that's enough. That said I would find it VERY annoying to have that thing going off after I'm in my track and then again after I've pulled. It's done that on cross countries and it's so annoying. If you're going to use one, use it propperly. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

I don't know how dirty your rig is, but a buddy of mine brought his into a dry cleaner to ask how to clean it. They suggested getting a bottle of Shout which is a stain remover and squirting a fair amount into a bowl of warm water. Dip a soft brush into the the liquid and begin to brush away yesterday's shame stain. Watch the fabric as you clean it. If you begin to get fuzzies stop. This meathod doesn't require much money although time and effort are involved and if you're as lazy as me that's worst than losing money. But I've seen old grass and mud stains disappear. Mine was on black and royal blue codura and his was on bright red parapack. Hope that helps. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

Get a tatoo of your rig on your body. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

Yeah - I didn't want to say anything but how the hell do you guys pronounce that. I think TLS still pumps through the veins though.. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

You really should have listed the Micron. Superior riser and pin protection. Very comfrotable and streamlined. RWS is not only the inventor of most of the features and functions of all other containers, but is the supplier of their parts due to their superior quality control (and contracts). You can NOT go wrong with a Micron. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

More than a manufacturer what about cuts and drag. It seems everyone I ask has an opinion based on who's sponsoring them or what dealer they have the best relationship with. Simply, I'd like to know would a person getting a first suit want a tight cut for more body control or a medium cut for more suit control? Also as I mentioned earlier I'm 5'8", 160 lbs and figure that a poly-cotton fabric would be way too much drag for me. Furthermore Tony's tie-suit description seems way too thick. Or should I just pick a suit and leave it up to the manufacturer to cut it right for me? It's just I don't want to place an expensive order and in 6 months realize I need something else. Again any advise will be great. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

I love my slinks. Have reserve slinks on my reserve. To be honest I haven't heard anyone say anything really negative about them. A buddy of mine didn't like the fact they didn't stop his slider from coming into his face but I've never been bothered by that so... "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

Is Pun running the show now or what?? "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

I'm 5'8" 160 - 165 lbs. I jump wih a lot of different shape people. I have no idea of material or kind of drag I'm looking for. I'm just getting into FF and my ff pants have too much drag. I like the way DKR looks but I'm looking for practical more than anyrthing else. I'm looking for some advise from your experience. Thanks. Oh - if it's any help I plan on using it in the tunnel too. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

But do they break when you need them too? "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

Does anyone know what the hell the centerline option for the RWS rigs is? Is this their own word for a kill line? I guess it does sound a little more pleasant. I noticed on their order form that all rigs that leave their factory will be supplied with a collapsable PC, but then they charge more for the "centerline" PC. Any one have any info on that? "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
-
Just in regards to the meshless reserve pilot chute - it was designed that way so that no matter what angle it came out of the rig it will catch air. Other reserve PCs have to get verticle before developing any drag. I find the idea comforting actually. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
-
Yeah, they're web site is very disappointing. But RWS is the innovator of most, if not all, of the safety aspects to our rigs. Mirage buys all their supplies for their rigs from RWS also. Square1's website can give you an "idea" of what one looks like in their customize container area. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"

Y'all check out the Micron? "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
-
I know I read that more carefully after I posted. Don't worry. I always carry some extra mustard for my foot. Makes it taste better. "Five days? But I'm angry now!"
