  1. Or you mean, Old Navy. But it could just as easily be any metrosexual. Yes, I think only the lesbians shop at the Army-Navy store. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  2. "Ground up and in the freezer" No, wait, that's something different. Forget I said that and carry on. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  3. Back on topic: Manning faces more charges "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  4. You already kill people as punishment, that doesn't stop criminals. What punisment should be introduced that you think will eradicate crime? I've always thought the death penalty made more sense as a deterrant the further you lowered the threshhold. If, just for example, you gave the death penalty to litterbugs then I wouldn't have to clean up all the drink cups and fast food bags that the contractors drop out of their car window every single day as they go past my house. 5. All depends how you break it down. If you say Highways (for instance) that would have wide support. If you said "ordering clerk" then nobody is wanting to pay that salary, even though you might need an ordering clerk for any highway work to get done. Nobody wants to pay for the electric bill. 6. Hi GP, I don't have any advice for you except to make sure it is healed because you can reinjure it rather easily. I was frustrated with being injured and not being able to jump too, but all things considered I figured if I screwed up my flare and only ended up with a sprained ankle then that was a good outcome, relatively. 7. Hi GP, There is no way anybody can tell how long your ankle will get back to normal but I would suggest not jumping on it this weekend if you are using crutches now. I sprained my ankle last year (reached for the ground w/ my foot and put weight on it awkwardly). It took a good two months for it to get better. Good luck "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  8. Maybe I should be looking for a girlfriend rather than a boyfriend... Please get video "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  9. The amount paid into the system through "unemployment insurance tax" funds the first 6 months of benefits. These are state taxes and collected by them, although administered by the federal government. The extensions are being paid for by general funds federal revenue. 10. Glue is the key to sticking together in a relationship. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  11. I don't know. I agree with some of the things he says but he still comes off as a pathetic victim and whiner. I don't want to get married again, for some of the reasons given in that article and for other reasons of my own. I'm not bitching about it though, I'm just not getting married. 12. Somewhat off topic but I do all of my browsing in a user account (restricted user, not sure of terminology), not an administrator account. I have an administrator account and I log into that only if I want to install something. Prevents anything from installing itself during surfing. Not sure it's 100% safe but it is working for me so far. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  13. This statement, i believe, is at least somewhat misleading. There are a large number of kids in the foster care system and/or eligible for adoption but that are not being adopted. This is true. There are a couple of things that lead to this situation: 1. The kids are not healthy--it is very hard to adopt out a child with disabilities especially severe disabilities. 2. The vast majority of kids who are adoption eligible but not being adopted did not become adoption eligible until they were older. This is due to the primacy of social service directives that family reunification is the goal and termination of parental rights and adoption eligibility can only begin after extensive efforts towards that have failed. Adopting out older children who often have emotional problems is also a difficult task. These problems and issues are well known among people who work in any field of children's services. There just are not a lot of healthy babies being willingly given up for adoption that do not have a long waiting list. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

  15. bah, the case against Assange in Sweden has nothing at all to do with wikileaks, except perhaps that it is due to political pressure from the U.S. Merit to it? No idea. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  16. and people complain about price of jumptickets.. So, they owe beer, right? "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  17. I think DOMA is not a very good law. However it was passed with the consent of both houses of congress and signed by the (former) president. I think process is important and the current administration should be actively trying to repeal the law if they don't like it. I can't see just deciding not to defend it. I guess the NY judge will just rule it unconstitutional? Then will it go to the Supreme Court? I believe other circuits have held differently. Pretty funny to hold a supreme court hearing and have one side not appear at all. This administration previously has said that they will not pursue convictions in medical marijuana states. I am for full legalization. Frankly I am against the medical marijuana (because it is apparent to me that this is a sham). However, I don't think the administration just declining to enforce the law is the way to go about change. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  18. Yep, one of the reasons I am not at all upset about Wikileaks. They are not complicit with the government. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  19. Assange may not have all the same rights. It is also true that he may not be subject to some of the same laws. There are complicated issues of jurisdiction invovlved. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  20. How YOU doin'? "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  21. Gee, I wonder how a senator would get that idea (that rules don't apply to him). Couldn't be because they exempt themselves from just about every law they pass, could it? "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  22. No evidence that has been made public, that is. There is no evidence that Southern Man and Belgian Draft were not co-conspirators with Manning and Assange either. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  23. Apparently they no longer make that kind of fabric: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2575408;search_string=south%20african%20zp;#2575408 I hope that links to the right post, I'm not very good with this mark-up stuff. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  24. We've covered this extensively. Bradley Manning likely committed espionage. In order for Assange to have committed Espionage he would have had to collaborated with Manning prior to Manning taking the documents. Although it is possible that he id there is absolutely no evidence at all that suggests it. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
  25. Everything i've read indicates that Assange has to have actively participated in planning w/ Manning to get the classified documents for an espionage charge to have any chance of sticking. Maybe Assange did so but I've seen and heard nothing that actually indicates this. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
