Is 15 a full load? I sware we had 16 in ours, i could be wrong. Then you have never been all the way in the back with a full load. Give me a cramped real plane to that toy they call a pac
-
I hate the pac, would take a caravan over a pac any day with a full load. Am I the only one, Pac's are fast but cramped. But give me a otter or a skyvan or a skyvan any day.

if no repack cycle, how often whould you I & R
bodypilot90 replied to bodypilot90's topic in Gear and Rigging
that has always been what i say when some riggers state we must stay at 120 days because what if x,y,z happens on the 121 st day. X,Y,Z may happen the same day as the repack. If a skydiver goes swimming with his rig on and decides to jump it with out a repack, who is to blame? Get to know your gear folks the life you save may be your own. -

For riggers and nonriggers your own gear. What do you think? -
What about reserve that old that has had 10 repacks. You are trying to cause someone to ground good gear. I have a problem with that. Gear must be looked at on a case by case basis not thrown out on a whim because the people who make it want to limit their liability. SIDE NOTE: if we had yearly I&Rs 20 year old gear would just need to be checked if it was a pd reserve. 6 months is a step in the right direction.

Thanks Ray and Terry, Care a h/c and reserve gets is a lot more important factor than age, would you agree? a 2 year old container and reserve that has been in salt water a few time is, and kept in a trunk more problematic than a 20 yo h/c reserve that has been lightly used and stored in a house with ac and in the dark
-
Why is a 20 yo reserve not air worthy? I agree 400 bucks is a lot, what reserve was it?

ahh do it for Jan, she loved seeing ppl being pied. That's my vote

well it's about having a little fun instead of getting mad. The more time the idiots spend doing this the less time they have to rip others off. Just thinking about the guy rushing to make the check and paying the next day air bill makes it all worth it. It sucks to be them

nope po box

I think i will send him a pullup cord

company check, he scanned it and reprinted it on check stock. ( i believe that's how he did it any way.) Police are working on it but who knows

I have some gear listed and I get a number of "send me the balance" if I send you a check. I decided to fight back, I agreed to sell the gear but needed the check fast. the person e mailed me me back saying he will next day air the check. Check arrives following day. The check has no watermark on the back, was a poorly done. Took the check to the bank it was drawn on. they checked it and it was counterfeit. So i did nothing about it, 2 days later i get a email and he ask where is money is. i didn't reply. He calls me wanting his money. I told him i wanted a good check, well I cost him $20 for next day air and cost him some time. any other ideas?
