    Pd was just talking about this at skydive sebastian. They said use large rubber bands and double rap all stows. I've been doing this for years.

    Funny I had no special training in for a 5 cell had less than 40 jumps and landed mine fine. It did seem kind of strange the the toggles were stowed on the brake lines. I did know how to plf cause I had a ragged out Ravin for a main. I Do understand there is better gear out there but why take old gearut of use if it is airworthy

    I have been landing when ac are landing or taking off. I understand we all share the airport and the last thing any dz wants is bad feelings between others at the airport, They like our snack bar. But it was scary to watch and even more so for the guys under canopy. I don;t care who's in the "right" let's just be safe and I have a "no shit i was there story"

    Just seemed odd that if he had followed the normal fight pattern he would have been well clear of landing canopies. The skydivers did see and aviod the aircraft. At 500 feet it's good we have a big landing area.

    The skydivers were not over the runway, the pilot rolled out low. and flew right over the peas and across the landing area. If he would have left the airport in the normal fight path would have him well clear of everyone,

    I was at the dz the other day and the 1st load was landing when a pilot taking off turns and flies under canopies that are at 6-700 feet. I had thought it was a stupid skydiver stunt. I did not get the tail numbers but talking with our jump pilot he said someone reported leaving the pattern early to avoid skydivers. To me it look like he was aiming for a few of the aff staff. They are going to have a chat with a FBO and see if we keep this from repeating. look out up there. This could have had a very bad ending. Has anyone seen this before?

    I am using 16x dvd -r's sometimes they burn real nice 10-12x sometimes as low as .90x. same iso same brand dvd, same software. I assume it's the dvd media. Ideas? Also same stuff running on the computer. Vista, quad core, 3 gigs system mem.

    Well I got my gopro, looking at the curved mount, The mount does not contour with my bonehead helmet at the edges of the mount. Is that what everyone else is seeing? Hoping to get it mounted and try it out this weekend.
