http://www.hirams.com/index.cfm?Method=KeyWestInn We stayed here when we were there one weekend. Not the fanciest of places in the world but still clean and hospitable. Very laid back atmosphere.

Definitely Starbucks. I have SB and DD both within walking distance but they are two totally different places. DD is bright with cafeteria style tables, etc. Starbucks has comfy chairs, good music playing and exceptionally friendly staff. I don't eat donuts anyway. In fact, since it's Christmas at Starbucks now , I'm now drinking a grande peppermint mocha/nonfat/no whip. It's still calorie laden though so this is breakfast for me. .

Well done, Mom!

I got a tattoo when I turned 30. It was during the day after I finished volunteering at the Catholic school my kids attended then. I got two more that year.

But, I thought it was just an honor to be nominated

That station rocks!! I always have it on in the evening. The soundscapes station is also very soothing when I'm trying to get the baby to sleep. Love those cable music channels. -
Ladies, do you like having your breasts touched?

I used to llike it, however, my son gets first dibbs. He's 11 months old and showing no signs of wanting to give up nursing. If he sees me without my shirt on his eyes light up and he squeezes his hands just like the little boy in the 'Meet the Fockers' movie. Honestly though, with the baby still nursing I'd rather them not be handled too much... thankfully, there are other parts for papa to play with. ***attachment is SFW but don't open if breastfeeding mothers offend you. -
Thanks for that.. breaks my heart. Willem is about to switch from the rear facing infant seat to the forward facing. We bought him a Britax. I'll definitely get the Regent seat from them too when he's a bigger boy.

My daughter has an albino cornsnake. Her name is Athena...by far the easiest pet ever.

I would agree but this could be a safety issue and he doesn't want the risk. His MIL should and probably will be understanding of this. It's her responsibility as well to forge a good relationship with the father of her granddaughter. Also, if he lets the dog come this time...it's coming every time..
-
Also as a side note... your fiance is probably feeling a little stressed and hormonal due to just having a baby 6 weeks ago. Remember that she might be more emotional and exhausted than usual so try and be patient. I still think you are doing the right thing by not allowing the dog. My mom hates dogs and when I would visit with mine he stayed in a kennel that I paid for so I could visit him daily. My dog, my responsibility.
-
I don't blame you a bit. I wouldn't want the dog around my baby either. It's your house and your baby. Just politely explain your feelings and maybe she can get a dog sitter or kennel it.

That was the case when my teenagers were little. As a new mom I would take them to the doctor for every sniffle, fever, cough, gasp, etc. Most of the time they were prescribed antibiotics lots of times, "just in case." My 11 month old has been sick twice. Last time he had a fever I waited it out.. (following guidelines for fevers in older babies ) and I treated his symptoms. He was better in a several days time. I did put in a call to the nurse when he developed a rash after the fever went away and she said it was probably viral. It was and he was fine. He hasn't been on antibiotics yet(thankfully) which is a far cry from what it used to be in my own experience. As far as organic food goes, I buy it whenever I can. It's just so much more expensive. I've spent $70 on one bag of groceries at Whole Foods.

My sweet boy. Can't help but share pictures.

I've seen it. That guy is something else.

Sometimes it's the Baby Einstein video on in the background which will keep the baby occupied for half an hour so we can "frolic." Nothing phases me anymore. It doesn't impact the fun at all.... except when I hear the video ending and I know we have to get out of bed.

If a couple isn't having sex then there are probably other problems and issues in the relationship which may lead to the infidelity other than her "not putting out." If he chooses to look elsewhere it is definitely cheating but the reasons are probably more complex than simply lack of sex.

and girls don't like sleeping with men who have sagging pectoral muscles, expanding waistlines, drooping butts and nose/earhair. Seriously though, I guess I got lucky. I met someone who loves me, the three children I came with and the baby we made together. I hope we are together forever and we can both be saggy and loose together when we're older. My guess is that you haven't found true intimacy yet and when you do you'll be surprised at what you do for one another and that the physical imperfections in each other are actually perfect.

I'm the opposite. When fall arrives and I can leave the windows open, I feel exhilerated. I can go outside without sweating to death and suddenly being in the fresh air feels well.......fresh.

You could check out Winter Park or the Mall at Milleniahttp://www.mallatmillenia.com/experience/experience.htm. It has some good restaurants where you can hang out and people watch. You could also go seem some gators at Gatorlandhttp://www.gatorland.com/ or check out the Kennedy Space Centerhttp://www.kennedyspacecenter.com/ . Lots to do really. Just depends on what you're in the mood for.
