Good point! But.. that might also have to do with the fact that BASE jumpers usually have to land their parachutes in a small area, hence they need a 'sinkable' parachute? Just another thought..

as for the sorry sob's without a full-face helmet (me!me!me!): apply a firm layer of vaseline on the exposed parts of your face, so your nose etc. won't freeze.. Blue -and cold...- Skies

Since I'm bored out of my skull here... My skydiving-addiction started by jumping static line, mainly because a friend of mine got me drunk enough to say "Yeah, sure! I'll go jumping with ya!".. .. Great guy by the way
