  1. The point with the genuine versus fake stuff is resolved through a couple methods. Heady had a real gun because it shot real bullets in the plane. If Heady hadn’t shot the thing, is there anyone willing to bet their life on it being empty or a replica? You have to know what you are looking at in order to make some assumption, like is the bomb or gun real. The bad guys know this and at times enter banks with a couple rounds fired for effect. It works extremely well. Want to know if I really kidnapped your family member? You can talk to them on the phone. Want to know if this bomb is real? NO! NO! that’s fine sir, you’re clearly a man of honor and integrity, what can I do for you? LaPoint’s ‘bomb’ was created out of seven or eight, magnesium flares lashed together and attached to a 9 volt battery. Any guesses on what sort of damage a cluster of those things going off in a DC-9 would cause? I don’t know, I’m asking, but I do know that I would treat that thing exactly the same as if it were the rest of my life. We know that McCoy was bluffing because the gun and grenade were recovered. Heady wasn’t kidding and LaPoint left his bundle of joy behind on the plane, for the crew to deal with. Nice. So was Cooper’s bomb a phony? Does it matter? Does the teller getting held up with an unloaded gun go through some different terror, from that of the teller facing a loaded gun? How about a toy gun? I just don’t see the value add in this data point, outside using it as some evidence to facilitate an accurate conviction.
  2. RobertMBlevins continues to comment and miss the point with: “Himmelsbach gave a reason he believes the Cooper bomb was a fake. He said dynamite is not red in color, but is the color of a manila envelope. He said in his career he has handled dynamite many times...” There you go RobertMBlevins, if anyone ever menaces you with a bomb made of ‘red’ dynamite, you can go full on, Chuck Norris and give him one of those fatal, 90 degree head twists that will drop him like a sack of wet cement, and fulfill your hero fetish in one seamless action. That’s the definition of Win-Win. That is, as long as no one ever lives around you for the rest of your life. Could you imagine what every conversation would lead to? Hi, I’m RobertMBlevins, infamous thwarter of that bomb wielding psycho, I’m sure you’ve heard of me. Yeah, he tries to show me the old ‘red’ dynamite routine, and I showed him the meaning of the word….’respect’. Excuse me miss, how much is the ‘red’ cabbage? I think I’m ready to try eating that again, now that I’m over my near death experience with a bomb menacing lunatic. You see, dynamite isn’t red, and I knew that, so I put him in a sleeper hold, then Pow! Sock-O! I saved the day. What? Two for a $1.39? What does that have to do with dynamite? Have you read the news? Speaking of ‘red’, I don’t like to repeat myself, but I was the guy who knew dynamite wasn’t ‘red’ and took down that madman. I don’t normally give out autographs but in this case, I’ll make an exception. No, I don’t want the supplemental liability insurance. I think there’s trouble, right here in river city, with a capital T, and that rhymes with D, and that stands for… Dynamite…. which isn’t ‘red’ so I single handedly took down a force of many. What a cute baby you have, and with such rosy ‘red’ cheeks. You know that dynamite isn’t really red? Well… it isn’t, and I should know… hey where are you running to? Hey! There’s a red traffic light, have I ever told you how I knew that dynamite isn’t…. oh this is your stop? OK, heck I’ll get off too, so as I was about to say….
  3. Smokin99…. The disembodied keyboard of reason. Yep, we ‘think’ Cooper’s bomb was a fake based upon…. Nothing. LaPoint threatened his crew with a bomb that was a fake. McCoy displayed a hand grenade which was inert, but looked just like a grenade. Heady took his plane with a pistol in hand. That was a real pistol because he actually fired the thing in the aircraft. Byck also used a gun that was quite genuine. Except he didn’t want money, he wanted to assassinate President Nixon. This hero worship is a little vexing to me. I know one definition of a liberal is: “A conservative which hasn’t been robbed yet”. But this has long passed from crime and through history, to entertainment. There’s still a chance (statistically) that Cooper is still alive and certainly available for prosecution. But any discoveries or news doesn’t seem worthy of release unless it is near the anniversary date for some odd reason. If it was another type of crime or a medical discovery, I wonder if the same controls would be used. Like finding a cure for some disease, but waiting till the anniversary of its discovery to publish the findings, or finding out who kidnapped some missing person, but keeping it quiet till the book can be finalized. That is probably not considered too cool in those situations, by most people. So by virtue of the way this data is published, combined with the fact that Cooper could be alive, tells me this isn’t that serious, or the Mayans were correct about next month. If I “knew” someone living was DB Cooper, I would throw down the money to have his DNA tested then quietly let the FBI have the results. But that’s just me, if I “knew” someone was a criminal. But that never happens on this thread (cough… oh mah gawd did I just type that?...cough) so that’s a bad example. I wonder if anyone has an “I was robbed at gun/bomb point” story, and thinks the guy is a hero or cool. Hmmmm…. Don’t know, too complex to speculate.
  4. 377 rightfully observed: “I've never seen a plane equipped with a CB radio and I've seen the interiors of hundreds of planes. It's possible technically, but unlikely.” Unlikely and illegal, as in Federal crime illegal. That radio has to be certified for use in aircraft. Why do you think people have to turn off electronics in airliners? I could just imagine some 747, on a PAR, at minimums, then some idiot goober starts keying his homemade airplane radio, in his car, with no frequency stability, AGC, power regulation and a 500 Khz bandwidth with, “Hey there good buddy, wuts yer 20? Dis herezzz Paperbrainz and I gots whut you need, how copy?” There’s a reason the ‘Chicken Band’ occupies the Sahara Desert of the FCC frequency spectrum, between garage door openers and restaurant pocket vibrators. http://www.ntia.doc.gov/files/ntia/publications/2003-allochrt.pdf I’ve got a KX-99 (that’s right I’m bragging) that I take in my vehicle when I’m feeling especially geeky. I think I paid around $800 over 20 years ago for the thing, and that all but killed me. Now handhelds are under $200 and weigh ounces. Not my American designed (Singapore manufactured) Bendix King. Nope, it comes in at a manly one and three quarter pounds, with 760 channels and ten being programmable. My other choice was a Ten-Tec TT-920, which is a name a HAM would recognize as the Rolls Royce of Radio gear.
  5. RobertMBlevins obliviously directs attention, once again, on his conduct with: “Do you and Farflung cherry-pick on who you call BS on, or do you have a list of folks who you tacitly accept, no matter what crap they try to foist off on you?” First RobertMBlevins needs to compare apples to apples. Georger and smokin99 already revealed how they were painfully aware of the Tosaw artifact and even exposed that it wasn’t part of Cooper’s gear. Same for the Amboy chute which was not part of Cooper’s equipment and everyone accepted the FBI’s analysis as credible. That is except for one lone person who brings it up over and over and over. I hope the FBI gives you the thing RobertMBlevins, then you can start a new life around what most would pay to have removed from their property. You are guilty of doing exactly what Cook has done, except you blow your top after it is mentioned….. once…. and for the first time. You go on to insult me and georger by insinuating that we have tacitly accepted something via your mighty powers of mind reading. You fail at this endeavor as it relates to me, but perhaps you have correctly read georger’s mind, in spite of him relaying his knowledge on the subject. So far the butthurt appears to be entirely self inflicted, via a tantrum of self pity. So let’s proceed. You infer that somehow you have BS called upon you, with a rapier swift speed and weight of the world magnitude, regarding your own inaccuracies, fallacies and fabrications. Has that truly been the case? When you were informed that Captain Scott never left the cockpit, YOU flew into a rage and threatened law suits and cried copyright violations in spite of the fact that YOU published Captain Scott talked to Cooper, while everyone else knew that was false. Did you thank Sluggo or Guru for the correction and how to use the internet properly? Not that I can see. You kept attacking and attacking, all the while missing the point that YOU published incorrect information and those people were trying to help you. Nice. Don’t forget the Paradise Point State Park story and how you agreed fully with the theory. How many different ways did I try to communicate to you that the Columbia River flows the other way? Three, six or more? You would have to be pretty dense not to pick up on hints like “you may want to review that water flow” or “water flows downhill” or “the Columbia empties into the Pacific” as ways for you to preserve some dignity before you were mercilessly hammered for doing nothing more than encouraging children how to read by giving away books…..for free. I guess you don’t teach them how to avoid being redundant or repetitious. Hey remember the First Woman to drive four Clydesdales abreast? Did YOU get hammered for that the first time you brought it up? Or was it many more times and a couple of use decided to put an end to that shit? The first time you said it I knew it was pure bullshit and it came from a pure bullshitter. The first time and I didn’t say a word. The fifth time and I didn’t say a word. So who is ‘Cherry Picking’ here? How about the wife of the Boulder cop? Nothing said the first 27 times you felt the need to publish that garbage. That’s right, after twenty seven repeats (27), I grew weary of that chant and generously did a census of the violation and equally generously informed you of this conduct. Would you like to make it fifty times? One hundred? What would be the proper number to hammer you on bullshit? You don’t deny that you make crap up, the offense is that you aren’t allowed as much time to lie about things as others. Well thanks for that clarification. At least you have the good graces to admit what you have been doing all along.
  6. You might as well not get the concept too, RobertMBlevins. Just because I TALK about something does not mean I believe in it or support it (slavery, UFOs, NAZIs). DO YOU UNDERSTAND? DF or not, first of all, you published a pile of pure bullshit about it being too difficult to use. Pure crap and typical of everything you say. Total junk and you knew it was guano when you typed it, you knew it was garbage when you reviewed it, and you knew it was more deception when you hit the post comment button. No accidents, mistakes, or miscommunications, you made all that sorry tripe up about something you were convinced that no one would know about, let alone be intimate with the subject. If you tell the truth, you don’t have to fret and worry about covering your tracks constantly. Why are you so terrified of the very suggestion of something, which resides in the land of probability? Did Cooper live? Could have. Did Cooper die? Could have. Gosh, I’m so conflicted, I should just consult my Ouija Board and see if it leads me to my pre-selected, although publically denied, solution. So you lie about DF systems because you don’t think Cooper used them. Gee, thanks for the adult supervision, Mr. ‘Knows A Woman Who Was The First To Drive Four Horses Abreast AND Ran In The Iditarod’ guy. Your common sense managed to avoid case studies again where you are proven wrong, yet again. Heady took off with the stairs closed and landed less than 17 miles from the airport. So much for your brilliant theory about having the stairs down for takeoff. McCoy flew from San Francisco to Utah, then managed to land within 10 miles of his house. Not bad for someone with nothing more than a watch, in a plane doing 3 miles a minute. How did he do that one? (insert long cricket chirps) Where’s the common sense that would research the publication dates of a Dan Cooper comic, before declaring how ‘his’ suspect saw Dan Cooper comics in Shemya? If it turns out to be unfeasible or impossible to use any RF devices, THEN SOME RESEARCH will support that assumption. RobertMBlevins repeating things to the point where one has such a primal reaction, that they puke until there is chunks of Mastodon meat in the bile, is not using common sense. Why not publish your data that shows the propagation footprint of a LF beacon, or a VHF one for that matter. Hell, go up to the India band or Ka and Ku for all I care. What sort of antenna gain would you need? Would you use a parabolic system or a semi-truncated, rotating array? I certainly wouldn’t rule out gain differential techniques or interferometric for their obvious advantages. How would you handle noise reduction? Signal attenuation or channelized receivers are simple forms of filtration. Oh well, we will never be graced with those parameters because this isn’t common sense. Now common sense is having some goober sitting in an Airstream, at some property with a phone but no building. Sure it’s almost 100 miles away from Battle Ground, but that doesn’t matter because this is better than the ‘common sense’ solution with Paradise Point Park. See he calls Bernie, but here’s the brilliant part….. he cups his hand over his mouth and talks in a whisper. See, because that way the cops can’t hear him telling Bernie how he got away with it and he needs a ride to the Airstream, where there will be no buttseks.
  7. So here we go, round and round, where the answer is, nobody knows, but everyone’s sure. So if there were PJs at McChord, they would have some reserve chutes. If they are PJ chutes, with reserves, then there wouldn’t be any ‘built in’ ELTs. This is considered, even though the chutes from Cossey/Hayden and Issaquah, were visually indistinctive from military rigs, and were handled by FBI agents, who could have inserted a homing device at any time. Cooper is getting uptight because he knows McChord is only 20 miles (actually 35) away, but ‘refuses’ rigs from the Air Force? This shit shouldn’t take 40 years to sort out. But even if Cooper didn’t care about McChord, the Air Force had some bug up their ass about handing out chutes, even though they gave one to LaPoint for a hijacking, less than two months later. The transcripts paint a story of the backpack chutes showing up rapidly, with the reserves being the chokepoint. Additionally the reserve and primary were incompatible. Cooper has also been credited with selecting a military chute, and therefore making a superior ‘choice’, in spite of the fact that he ‘refused’ chutes from the military. Cooper reads the data cards, but ignores the fact that the chute is out of time, and the reserve is a training dummy. So the logistics of the chutes, and what Cooper said, which is recorded by Northwest, the FBI and the FAA, is still, how should I say this….. somewhat murky. But so help me god, people know exactly who Cooper is and precisely where the rest of the money is buried. Yep, that sounds just about right. You can imagine the concern I felt, when something may have started to actually follow the arc of something from Earth. Whew, that was a close one.
  8. Transcripts and Handwritten notes from Flo, 3:13 PM Crew is hijacked 3:26 Approaching LOFALL for holding 3:57 Already have backpack chutes 4:53 Waiting for chutes from McChord I would be surprised if an Air Force Base would have reserve chutes. I could see them saying they only have bail out rigs, but not delaying the delivery. 5:07 Within ten minutes, should have two other chutes. 44 minutes from first notice of hijacking to having the backpack chutes doesn’t really allow much time for McChord to be refused or play games. McChord is 35 miles away and it looks more like the most expedient selections, with backups were made. 5:22 He is getting very impatient for the chutes. He has inquired three times now about chutes. He is not accepting the fact they are not available locally. 5:26 He (presume Cooper) is aware that TCM (FAA ID for McChord) is 20 miles away. From page 10 of the handwritten notes: “he” said why it took Money + chutes long time -Chutes came from McCord air force base. He does wants to Wait for the chutes Before we land. 5 to 10 min. That looks like McChord chutes weren’t an issue to Cooper. Where did this information come from about refusing McChord or the base not cooperating?
  9. This is what I would expect for a person on the ground with a small receiver, trying to DF something which is just as ‘lost’. Cooper’s requirements would be different in that the DF unit is a car (knows where it is), roughly limited to roads, which sounds obvious, but drives the real need for azimuth accuracy. Which is relatively low in this application. Initially you just need to know if you are heading towards Cooper and the road needs to head in that direction also. Aircraft and vessels don’t have this restriction. After looking at the road network around Lake Merwin, I don’t see a massive advantage to having the lobes reduced to much less than 90 degrees. You only know if Cooper is fore or aft, then perhaps left or right of whatever road. It’s not like there are dozens of options or even dozens of miles between the roads. From Lewis River Road (north side of Lake Merwin), you only have seven or eight options for traveling north. Once you’re on one of these roads, you really have left or right of the vehicle, then about two miles to walk to a parallel road. At that point you could haul out the walkie-talkie or honk the horn for such a short distance. But a very primitive system, used in a similar road network, appears to look like it could narrow things down to a few square miles. No VC to dodge, no ground fire, no E&E stuff, unless that’s your normal mode of travel. Although it’s human nature to ‘gold plate’ everything, their budgets typically deliver something plastic, cheap and disposable. Look at your cell phone.
  10. Nope, I didn’t miss it 377. It was your suggestion of designing a UHF/VHF DF system I was responding to. Why use that spectrum? It’s filled with comms already and DF systems were already available, off the shelf, for the low frequency spectrum. If I had to improvise something, I would choose some low freq beacon on a small breadboard, powered by the batteries in the briefcase, with a wire antenna. In fact, I would use the beacon as part of the ‘bomb’ with wires and scary stuff in the briefcase. Killing two birds with one stone, I really am driven by my greed and laziness. Why spend that time and effort when something already offers the 80% solution? Foxhunt gear. True statement about the nulls and antenna efficiency in the low frequencies. Also true about navigation being near worthless at greater distances. What should be the anticipated ambiguity of Cooper’s jump with an accomplice? Ten miles, twenty miles or one hundred? How much power and antenna height/efficiency would you need for something in the ten mile category? Is the beacon going to have different propagation requirements from a walkie-talkie? Why? Power and antenna efficiencies are relative to design requirements. What’s required for something to work in the Cooper environment? I would like to see a simple and honest matrix, of how various RF devices would perform. But I know I’ll just see some select favorites, just like the money arriving at Tena Bar puzzle. Unfortunately this is the same animal as what the subject of dredging does to money at Tena Bar. If someone doesn’t like it, they issue some baseless declaration (code for: lie) that it is impossible or too complex. Funny how walkie-talkies are so popular with such limited range and exposure to detection, or that beacons are implausible since, well, there hasn’t been a movie or TV show with beacons so they don’t exist. No matter the device, I’m going to start with simple. Before designing the ultimate HF beam with a reflector, I want to know how a roll of copper wire would perform. Oh it’s a little inefficient, then gin up the dilithium crystals with watts till the wires melt. Remember in automotive terms, there’s no replacement, for displacement.
  11. Why Re-invent the wheel 377? Using a guard freq for homing would be among the least intelligent designs I could imagine. Every aircraft for a radius of 100 miles would be picking up that signal and calling ATC. The military is already well equipped with DF receivers and techniques for locating the source. Using that would almost guarantee Cooper’s arrest. Here’s a bunch of cheap LF equipment which was sold at Radio Shacks and Sears which is small, portable and tunable across a vast spectrum. So IF (massively huge gi-normous IF) Cooper was using some sort of RF device, why not use some simple model from a fox hunt? You don’t care about directionality, so VHF and UHF offer no advantage, plus they are line of sight. Take a roll of copper wire for your antenna and chuck it over some tree limb and start your short duration, omni-directional transmission, with a battery. You could extend the life and or increase power, by squawking at some predetermined schedule, like one minute every fifteen. Plus who is going to be monitoring some CW on the LF band? At least try and use some scenario which is plausible and back it up with some data or examples of how this could be done (easily). How this got on to ELTs as a consideration is NOT thinking outside the box. Even with walkie-talkies what would Cooper and his accomplice say? Hey, I’m on the ground in some woods, there are trees and dirt, over. Roger, copy trees and dirt, I’m on my way, don’t do anything till I show up. Wilco. OR….. Hey, I made it! Wooooo HOOOOT! I’m on the corner of Thompson and Elm and hiding behind a shed, you can’t miss it. Wilco. Meanwhile at dispatch, near a scanner: Car forty seven, car fifty four and car eighteen, we heard a person excitedly calling for a pick up at Thompson and Elm……. Suspect reported to be armed… over.
  12. RobertMBlevins continues his orgy of disinformation with: “The problem isn't with the transmitter, it's with the receiver, which in 1971 would denote extreme expertise in its use and an ability to understand the equipment used to receive the signals, and then pinpoint the location where those signals originate, and then proceed to that location.” DENOTE EXTREME EXPERIENCE IN ITS USE??? Really?? Wow, I guess when someone doesn’t have a clue what they are talking about, they then assume the planet doesn’t have a clue either, and it’s OK to publish bullshit. This is like the aft stairs being soooooo complex to operate that it would take an advanced degree in mechanical engineering to operate them. Geesh people, can you give it a rest? First. If you prang some aircraft, the odds are the search will be conducted by the CAP. This is a great organization, but it is staffed with volunteers and a bunch of teen-agers. How complex would one expect the equipment to be? Of course I’m assuming one would use their superior investigative skills and logic to arrive at this assumption. DF-ing (no it does not mean Dumb Fu) has been around as a hobby for decades before there was any DBers. The systems were simple to use, small and quite familiar to HAMs and electronics geeks. You could make one yourself (Heathkit) or buy a Zenith, Bendix or any number of brands which are now owned by the Chinese. Attached is a photo of a DF club getting some training. Look at the cars and guess how many years this was before the Cooper hijacking. The other photos are of various DF-ing receivers available to anyone. Complex equipment indeed. This is yet another reason why no one takes this subject seriously (and shouldn’t) and why RobertMBlevins attracts venom. Why talk out of your ass like this? Does it make you feel important and all big man-ish? How many DF systems have you operated RobertMBlevins? How many have you seen? What the hell were you talking about? Clydesdales, Iditarod races, un-named software, backing down stairs, un-reported break ins, tree stump money, height distortion, the mystery of the color hazel, toupees on ELTs, Airstream buttseks, lighter than air water, Cooper demanding twenties, Tina being a cat, digging ditches, digging bourbon or is this another thing to add to the extensive pile of your crap? I mean really, who does this?
  13. RobertMBlevins displays his search skills with: “Attached: Picture of the house from the main road. I don't have a problem with giving out the address, but not on a public forum. Serious investigators would have to contact me personally on this.” Gosh, I guess all those ‘serious investigators’ you speak of….. didn’t know how to search Geestman Ranch and have a photo already geo-located to the place on a very public website named Google. But what do I know? I’m just a cave man, who had a few extra minutes.
  14. This is why you get so much venom. RobertMBlevins speaks from his parallel universe, sans short-term memory with: “Maybe one of these days I'll take a trip up there again and ask her. She has no phone at her ranch in Twisp.” This is typical of your miscommunications, misunderstandings and constant errors induced by someone who does not use English as a primary language. She solved a $15 problem with BS. Not only has she displayed a ‘special relationship’ with reality, where she is mushing dog sleds through the wilds of Alaska, after driving horses to drink, but she hates phones too. She fits the profile of a wacko perfectly. She doesn’t like a TracFone, gee she could have told YOU that when you handed her that new fangled, eeeelectronic talking stick. What utter BS! Then YOU reserve the temerity to say: “You could have just asked.” Sorry, but I don’t reside in, or visit Crazytown, where there is some expectation that when someone says, a woman has no phone, you should inquire about some unfounded phobia. That’s nuttier than a squirrel turd. You have been duped, yet again. Be careful and bring dog snacks? Are you kidding? No one wants to talk to her and no one ever broke into that dump. No police report, no evidence, just you repeating some brain dead story….. again. If I suffered a ‘break in’, and had anything resembling a brain, I would want TracFones planted all over the estate, with 911 set on speed dial. Do you ever think downstream? She actually sets herself up to be even a greater victim, and you buy it. Un-freaking-believable. PS: I “asked” about the name of the facial recognition software, but ummm….. that didn’t work out so well…. umm… oh yeah, because it was pure BS, and you were avoiding that like a boss.
  15. RobertMBlevins says: “Maybe one of these days I'll take a trip up there again and ask her. She has no phone at her ranch in Twisp.” Or you could just mail her one of those disposable phones for $25 and save some serious time and money. http://www.walmart.com/ip/20933059?adid=22222222227015231772&wmlspartner=wlpa&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=&wl3=17431972390&wl4=&wl5=pla&veh=sem Nahhhh, too much fun blundering around for a single data point. Never mind.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulI8xWuV8ic I should have expected the tragedy to spread into the very fabric that is America. Apparently when the flagship of Hostess went down, it took Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Ho-Hos and the very gluten that binds this once great nation- Wonder Bread. That’s right, Wonder Bread is but some more collateral damage brought on by debt laden Twinks, Dongs and Hos. Will this be the last of the bad news? NO! For anyone who has had the good fortune to travel the nation (before $4 gas), and explore the diverse landscapes, histories and cuisines; you will no doubt be familiar with the Center Sanctum of Sauce, the Mecca of Mmmm, that little giant called Arthur Bryant of Kansas, City. For decades men, women and children…. little children Mandrake…. have gathered to feast upon barbecue, which has clearly been rubbed by the very hand of God, before being served with Bryant’s own sauce and…. I hope I can finish….. and…. Wonder Bread, to create the perfect, All American munch. Now that Wonder Bread is gone, we might as well remove the torch from the hand of liberty, pull the chair out from under Whistler’s Mother and convert the Grand Canyon to landfill. I tried to rush to the grocery and stock up on hundreds and hundreds of loaves, but some low life hoarders already stripped the shelves bare. Now it looks like Russia and I thought we won the cold war, more like a Pyrrhic victory without the wonder of Wonder. I don’t know what could possibly bring me out of this funk (Marla?).
  17. RobertMBlevins states from the comfort of his parallel universe: “No shards. Never came forward until now? Fishermen, always got a whopper of a story, LOL. Without proof, it goes into the Cooper Fable Vault.” Damn right sheriff! NO PROOF it is pure fable and fiction. Nothing more, you are a man of conviction. RobertMBlevins reinforces his point with: “Let's face it, anyone could say today that they found a few shards…” That’s for sure, ANYONE could say that. Just like anyone could say they were the first to drive four Clydesdales abreast, and without confirmation, only the most gullible and least intelligent would ever believe such a preposterous statement. Without proof, Dan Cooper comics would be in the ‘dayroom in Shemya in 1951’. Such detail to include the ‘dayroom’ because when something is pure bullshit, you might as well toss away the dignity, and make up a whole story around a pile of fiction. LOL is right RobertMBlevins, you can only laugh and ridicule such dense and unaware conduct. Even more humorous when the exact same thing has been committed by the person throwing stones. Try and follow this whopper. Someone decided the Cooper lore vault needed some more compost, so they fabricated a magical pile of tree stumps, which contained a bag of twenties, found by a couple kids! Can you believe that someone was so lacking in self respect, that they repeated that one? Evidence you ask? NONE. Not one bill, shard, fragment, photo, police report, news article, names of the kids, names of their parents, nada, nuthin, zip. Not one piece of verification. But there was a single person who told the story. Yep, and the reason it’s true is because she lives in Boulder, Colorado (I still have no clue what that’s supposed to mean, but is has been repeated 29 times) and is married to a cop (I still have no clue what that’s supposed to mean, repeated 29 times also). That’s supposed to be evidence, oh my god, talk about LOL. But it gets better, well better if you have a sense of irony, but not much better if you believe these things or are the source, then it’s worse, you will probably deny and deflect any association. So I guess I was premature in assuming that it gets better, it gets more weirder, would have been more accurate. So this shop owner, who never saw the ‘stump money’, wasn’t a witness to the find, didn’t own the property, wasn’t associated with the area at that time, BUT (and this is a huge BUT) had never met the woman from Boulder, Colorado…. AND told the same story! There’s your venom-proof, proof right there! Yep, some shop owner repeats some lore, and rather than being identified as blatant hearsay, it metastasizes into being proof that the bag of twenties, found in the magical stump forest, actually happened. LOL indeed.
  18. Perhaps ‘Marla’ will show up at the ‘theatre’ tomorrow……. Or will she? That’s right, as usual I’ve taken it upon myself to right the wrongs or this planet, by offering myself to ‘Marla’, as a way to verify if she even exists! You got it. Who was willing to potentially degrade and debase himself in ways which others can barely imagine? Me. Because I care too much. So ask yourself this; Why has Farflung been so fixated upon Marla? Watch the video and I warn you, be prepared to say – You were right again Farf. From (8:46 to 9:33) Marla is stripped bare and exposed as: Rachel Zoe! As in Zoe my gaaaaaawd! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8yPyrC9KxA It ‘s her because we know the ‘show is fake and scripted’ because he said it’s fake and scripted. But it gets even stranger when he uses actual facial recognition software, not fake, brag, software that never existed because it’s fake, but real facial recognition software which reveal staggering ramifications about Marla (Rachel Zoe) Cooper (12:09 -13:05). I know, shocking in how this LIVING person used real software, instead of making it up, because he doesn’t have to, because he didn’t want to lie. Now admit how many of you actually thought that Marla Cooper wasn’t an actress, which is why several were suckered into launching personal attacks, on someone that is all made up. Feel kinda dumb or dumber now? Well if Marla is real, then she will respond to my scientific and honest verification process, which will be held in room 238, or the bar with a light snack. Or maybe Marla doesn’t care about freedom, puppies or unicorn tears. For all the doubters, you’re welcome. Farf out.
  19. Here’s the latest news from an extremely reliable source, which is very reliable, because I just repeated how extremely reliable they are. It is from the Hollywood Theatre, and it is well known that the Hollywood Theatre does not hire any dummies. Nope, they sure don’t and I add that, because more words create way more truthier things. http://prod3.agileticketing.net/websales/pages/info.aspx?evtinfo=45257~5f969332-ec94-41af-822d-5c7ec8f2ca2b&epguid=81b7db1a-39a9-4ae1-99ac-2b415fbbae48& At the bottom of the announcement, which is a place of prominence, and therefore adds legitimacy to what is being published- you can ask questions and get answers from DB Cooper’s niece- Marla Cooper. Perhaps if you are polite and show some manners, you can take her picture and get an autograph on a twenty dollar bill. That would round out the evening perfectly, after watching the award winning, best selling, and celebrated, documentary on DB Cooper. It’s nice to see there is some Cooper royalty showing up at this event and that it isn’t the usual self proclaimed experts, who spend the balance of the year marinating in girl repellant, from the girl repellant store. I wonder what time Marla will take questions? Could it be 2:38? Is there room around 238? Like 236 or 240 might work. Will she sponsor a charity lingerie show or complimentary oyster bar? There could be a nominal charge for the oysters, like $2.38, if Marla wants to consider that. I would try and sneak some oysters, but would…. Marla call me…. on that? Since my research is so sensitive and confidential, I may have to talk to Marla privately ..--- in order …-- to insure ---.. she gets, my message .-.-.
  20. I figured those in the legal profession would raise a glass to the poster boy of ‘Diminished Capacity’, and say farewell to such a widely used, if misunderstood phrase, in the American lexicon. Ironic in that the guy who was murdered was named Milk, and just days prior to his death, wrote a letter to President Carter, asking for the unjust investigation and harassment, of a fine man and leader be stopped (history does repeat). That fine man, which Harvey Milk gushed over, was none other than Jim Jones. Looks like Milk may have avoided drinking the Kool-Aid, but was done in by Twinkies. How’s that for those situations where you need to segue between snack foods and case law?
  21. I can’t tell who is remotely being truthful. All the earmarks scream deception to me, I mean scream it. No one can be direct, just a bunch of little Bill Clintons running around, splitting hairs, quibbling and trying to find out what the definition of is…… is. Jesus, I’ve never been around such a group of communications failures, which were all so pure and noble. Around the same page of ‘Skyjack’ (256 whatever), Geoff says Tom won’t tell him something, whatever it is, I don’t care, but I’m sure this will spark a dozen iterations and ‘clarifications’. In any event, Geoff pushes for something and Tom won’t tell. That’s good enough for me, but the tale continues. Geoff pushes harder but Tom won’t budge because…… “He and the Team are thinking of writing their own book.” So what’s in the evidence pile? A group of unofficial people, who have at best limited educations, and those areas of expertise have little to nothing to do with the Cooper evidence. Have been sequestered with some ‘stuff’ for years and years, doing whatever. They coincidentally release their findings on the 40th anniversary of the crime. Perhaps this is chance and perhaps monkeys will fly out of my butt. So I’ll go with chance since I’m really a pushover. They publish the findings on a website with a (.)COM extension rather than org or net. OK, so this is an accident also, dot COMs are more prevalent. They also manage to apply copyright logos on every page of their website. Not exactly the parlance of some lark or intellectual exercise, but again I’ll ignore that also. So is Geoff’s book a massive fiction or selective fiction with Tom playing a completely innocent victim here? Why doesn’t anything feel right with these people? Sticky, always sticky and hunched back with hands wringing with some fanboi endlessly praising what he doesn’t understand. I think I’m going to agree with the whole thing being fucked up, and looking elsewhere for confirming information. In fact, if it comes from these guys, it looks like it would be an anti-confirmation. They went so far as to conclude that he was French-Canadian? Really? Really?? From some ancient microscope? Yeah, it’s all fucked up.
  22. ZOMG! While I was being all research-y, studying Bigfoots, Roswell Aliens and DB Cooper, I found out that Twinkies are bankrupt and to be made…….. no more. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (cough, cough) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (pauses to sip Mountain Dew) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (adjusts carpel tunnel wrist brace) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (shakes fist in air, aided by carpel tunnel wrist brace) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (checks for Twinkie rehab programs, finds none) OOOOOOOOOOO (searches pantry for golden, sponge cake, goodness substitute, finds none) OOOOOOOOOOOOO (reviews Bill of Rights for amendment to- keep and enjoy, cream filled happiness, Twinkies) OOOOOOOOOOO (blames lazy ass union) OOOOOOOOOOOOOO (asks Chinese friend if he would bake Twinkies for 80 cents a day) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (calls dentist regarding accident with friend) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ( injects insulin) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (lets ‘Snuggie’ absorb tears of unfathomable grief) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (berates Ethiopian for ‘not understanding’) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (emails congressman, biographer, and some lesbian twin from Tampa) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ( can’t understand the lack of instant gratification, which is so richly deserved) OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (getting tired from righteous campaign to keep the production lines of Twinkies operating) OOOOOOOO……ooooooo…..ooo…oo..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  23. RobertMBlevins types with utter detached awareness: “Decoded was an unscripted show and the director/producers don't tell you what to say.” The DBC thread is unscripted also, as evidenced by some of the most astonishing stupidity on display, for all the world to see, if the world so desires. Bernie’s wife being the first woman on Earth to drive a car, running facial recognition software and being too tough to lie, is some truly unscripted garbage. But some simple internet searches would have proven just what a load of road apples that whole claim was, but for reasons unknown, this internet search was not completed. Captain Scott never left the cockpit, as was recorded by the FBI. All the transcripts could be read on Sluggo’s site in less than a couple hours, yet this was avoided in favor of some source which is still unknown, but it is not someone making the whole thing up, that’s for sure. The plan that you violently agreed with where the money was tossed in the river at Paradise Point Park which floated to Tena Bar, is another example of how sloppy TWO ‘adults’ can be and how inept their map reading skills are. This after numerous ‘hints’, that your brilliant plan had a notable flaw (The Columbia flows the other direction). Really, that one redefined spoon-feeding information to avoid embarrassing someone, to some sort of gastric tube surgically placed for you to finally ‘get it’. How about you AND Skipp thinking the hijacker was really smart to demand the money in twenties? Yep, once again, you both agreed that some piece of fiction was really smart, which of course is really dumb. The most basic of fact checks would have uncovered this. Was it a moment of ‘unscripted’ weakness that made you type that you used ‘facial recognition’ software in order to get an ‘exact match’ between Kenny and some hand drawn composite? Then of course the ‘software’ is a zoom button on a copy machine, and there was no ‘exact match’ arrived by some super duper, pee my pants, intimidating sounding software, because it was another humiliating episode which was entirely fabricated. Good technique with the deflecting, cuz that NEVER attracts MORE attention. Hey, remember the Dan Cooper comic being ‘questioned’ on Shemya? Most people would have paused to consider there being a reason for some push back (not you), on such a bizarre and silly ‘fact’. Gosh, why do these people keep telling me the comic wasn’t on Shemya in 1951? Because the comic didn’t exist until 1954, and that could have been verified with a simple fact check which you failed to do……again. Not only that, but you are actually on video holding that ignorant piece of hardcopy as yet another example of Cooper ‘evidence’. So you saw it on the FBI website and figured, hey, I’ll just ‘borrow’ this and make it my own. Well congratulations, it is inextricably linked to you now. How about the picture of Kenny firing a machine gun, wearing an M-17 ‘Dishpan’ helmet, and leggings? You couldn’t wait, like a child, and published another gem for the litter box of Cooper treasures. Then in typical form, found a way to assign blame to someone else. As the historian, YOU are responsible for the fact checking, YOU are supposed to be thinking independently and objectively, YOU are not to be pushing some pre-selected agenda or person, otherwise YOU are nothing more than a hopeless, apologist fanboi, that blows with the wind, be it an honorable breeze, or a typhoon of dishonorable malfeasance. RobertMBlevins goes on to repeat: “It was the refusal of them to allow the Citizen Sleuths to examine it, or outside sources to confirm their findings.” The Citizen Sleuth team also refused to allow anyone to examine their data. Ever wonder why Spanky? Perhaps this passage from the book ‘Skyjack’ will shed a single ray of clarifying light, but won’t matter to a rabid fanboi. From page 256, I believe: “The leading company is Timet, based out of Dallas. Was Dan Cooper a Timet employee? Once I learned about Tom’s discovery of titanium sponge, I asked him about it. He refers me to his lawyer. “This is business now,” he says. “Once it’s business, the guns come out."" And end quote, that is if you couldn’t tell by that double ‘eye-lash’ piece of punctuation. Wow, Tom sounds real OBJECIVE with lawyers protecting HIS business (Citizen Sleuths) with GUNS. Why not let Marla check the chute and see if it looks like the one her uncle talked about? Or let Cook give his analysis, since he is an outside source too! You might want to read ‘Skyjack’ because it throws a pretty harsh light on the characters involved. By harsh I don’t mean inaccurate, it just shows them for what they are. This should be enough to make my point, which you will deflect and dismiss and ‘hair splitting’ or already asked and answered. Those are two of your favorite and hackneyed pieces of tripe, this in spite of posting some things dozens and dozens of times which were never asked about or ever relevant. Oh well. You already won over the stupid demographic, so I’m not sure what battle your fighting now.
  24. You got me on that quick and well researched response, about bio-degradable materials, being buried for 63 years, in the ground. No chance of any variation or science here. Ahhh shit, now I feel stupid, hey what’s that?! Side answer: so maybe everyone else was using it that way too. You were still guilty of saying silk and not manning up to being a tool.
  25. You are WRONG. The only person needed to ID the Aerial, Amboy, Paradise Point, Clydesdale, Iditarod, chute was Earl Cossey and he said without hesitation, THIS AINT IT. What did YOU do, use your ‘facial recognition’ software on this too? Then you go all conspiracy because some spokesperson or brain dead reporter called it silk. So what? So did YOU on the ‘Decoded’ program. Reporters also said Cooper demanded twenties, but only the biggest dorks believed that one. Get off your high horse and get over yourself. You should listen to the free and accurate advice given your way, and THINK, a little bit before you hack out some response filled with factual errors, which contradict your ‘self proclaimed’ status, as a person who makes posts that are sensible. You screwed the pooch, again, and got caught, again, but instead of eating it, you minimize and deflect, again.
