I'm pretty sure i've only got 6 lives left.... one of which i've used while skydiving... doing my best not to expend any more.. there are a few more things i REALLY want to try first ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

obviously you havent met many Playmates... i know two pretty well, one of which is a bio-chemist, both of whom have amazing personalities to go along with their beauty.. capturing that beauty in the moment it exists is a wonderful thing, and no one should be ashamed of it.. hmmm what's that?? yup smells like jealousy to me ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

if you train for the specific style or genre of another artist you CAN.. there are guitarists now who play hendrix songs BETTER than he originally did... HOW? practice, training and learning to listen for the subtleties that make one performance distinctive from another.... its all up to the individual and how much they want to learn, train, practice... the point was that it isnt limited by any racial/cultural stereo types.. or will you now argue that this guy DIDNT listen to existing performers in his genre? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

i'm not sure where you get your definition of 'learning' from, but your very mistaken.. you can learn anything.. you become better by practice.. practice is part and parcel of the learning process...you are unique as an individual from the beginning, but until you learn your craft you are incapable of expressing anything at all.. what you define as 'style' is absolutely something you can learn and refine with practice.. everyone stands on the shoulders of those who came before them...nothing is created from 'thin air', it comes with practice and study... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Damn rich kids... hey hey... the prefered term is "turbine junkies" i cant help it that you get glazed looks when you mention the words "cessna jump" at Eloy ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

not really... true it destroys the fundamentalist assertion that it is the 'one true unadulterated word of God(TM)" but it doesnt change anything about the social 'truth' and utility of the morals it professes... one of the main problems in modern christianity is the tendency to confuse 'the message' with the primitive cultural hang ups of 'the messengers' ie those who wrote and edited the bible and assert it is the only true representation of divinity... it has been time for a 'new revision' of the christian bible for a long while now.... but doing so would undermine the power held but various Church structures world wide... so it wont happen... at least officially.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

i dont get it.. like any form of music it is just a learned skill... if you put the time into it you can do any style of music you wish no matter what your racial background... its just that most white people dont ever try to learn to dance... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

there is also a JTF branch at Patrick AFB although its very specialized..(you are actually assigned to the plant in Melbourne, which is a really strange thing to see on your orders... ... LOTS of DZ's nearby... unfortunately i wasnt jumping yet when i spent my time there... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

JT i wonder(i could be wrong) if you are confusing your first reenlistment, with your 'second assignment'... by reenlisting you have a good bit of options you can get written into the contract, but just coming from a first assignment, other than trading orders or getting someone higher to pull strings i'd be REALLY surprised to see anyone get exactly what they wanted just by asking... but who knows maybe they've changed things to keep more people in and happy.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

you know i think this thread is funniest thing going at the moment... a racial discrimination debate tied with who would whip who's ass, Capt Kirk or Bruce Lee... Bruce hands down... Kirk fights like a girl no matter how much alien ass he got.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

while this may be a reasonably true generalization for the way each 'side' behaves now it is in polar opposition from what those positions originally were when conservative meant 'conservative use of governmental power' ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

because (with a few exceptions) it takes money, and social connections as well as drive and determination to create a significant increase in individual wealth... having the later is great, but having the former and a few basic starting opportunites that the poor do not is a MUCH easier path... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

no but it means that IF there were two of you the one with long hair would likely get ALOT more dates... many women do look very good with short hair, and change is sometimes a good personal decision, but IMO they'd still probablly look better with long hair... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

i cant imagine how much it would suck to believe I was formed from the rib of another... but i guess it justifies the 'lesser' status the 'judeo-christian tradition' (lol) applies to women ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

i guess if the entire dive was displaying what you refer to as 'painfully poor body position' then that might be considered accurate, of course a good tracker uses whatever body position is necessary/interesting to keep them relative to the rabbit it's only 'poor body position' if you fall out of the dive.... i was shown the 'the atmonauti position' (TM) loong before i ever heard the term as a good method to stay relative in a slow moving track...of course it was referred to as 'crabbing' and generally meant you were letting the rabbit know "i'm not working at all here....pick it up bitch..." adding a steep dive simply makes it easier to fly that position at higher speeds and opens up available airspace by keeping the burble smaller relative to the direction of travel... "hey we are going on a really steep tracking dive! but we are all going to use painfully poor body position to stay together..." no doubt they are pushing the envelope for what has and can be done as a 'flock' (another perfectly descriptive term that you can easily interchange..all without the silly TM) but beyond illustrating what superior flight skills can accomplish together i STILL dont see it as a 'revolution' or invention', it is simply the progression made available by the continual development of skydiving skills... "maybe we should 'invent' a sub discipline for 3 freestylists? we'll all wear cameras and include multiple docks and formations, but '3way freestyle' or 'freefly' arent cool enough words and we cant pretend its 'our invention'... we need a NEW term"... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

no not really it is more amusing to see those who are all puffed up about 'inventing' something new... but i am a firm believer in not creating excessive, unnecessary new terminology for pre-existing activities just so you can claim "revolution" and pretend you invented something... maybe we should start calling every skydive "aerosphere navigation" and pretend its "totally different" from anything that comes before.. ps... unless your also going to be doing it in on Venus, Mars etc... you should be using "Aeronauti" .... but i guess that didnt meet the 'coolness' criteria.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
