The origin of Bush's plan to remove Saddam
Zenister replied to SpeedRacer's topic in Speakers Corner
unfortunately this one should have been added to the 'duh headlines' waits for the Bush supporters to scream about how it was all about (non-existent) WMDs, or how he was ' misled' by 'bad intel' when you make a decision BEFORE you have the facts it is rather easy to read only the ones you wish to see..... piss poor leadership from the start...and I'm sick of losing friends because of it... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -
'horribly embarrassing? that sounds more like a self esteem problem from early on.. but nipples? oh yea.. they pretty much the most attractive portion of the breast... 'the point' so to speak.. at least when clothed as then the subtle and more interesting curves are all hidden.... stare? Nah, definately an admiring glance perhaps, and for the more obvious occasions... well my peripheral vision is MUCH better since i dont have to worry about glasses anymore... I think the trend now tends to thinner tops as nipples have seemed MUCH more obvious to me in the last year... but really much like a low cut top… if a woman doesn’t want the attention, WHY would she wear clothing that so obviously ‘displays’?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

well that is the sound of me watching the clock till my bank account becomes much leaner... just imagine, very soon a little airtime will be the perfect answer to midnight insomnia... but a lovely birdie and her mate did mention something about the tunnel being 'aired out' ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

that Stryker BDE (the 2nd) is... at least for the moment (they actually 'belong' to Hawaii) there are currently 3 Stryker BDEs and will eventually be 6.. hmmm ,based on the article he joined the army while i was deployed with the 1st SBCT... the name doesnt ring any bells, but if he was at Lewis for any length of time its pretty likely he jumped at Kapow at some point.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

iirc Jason (pilot, jumps at Kapow on occasion) does, and there was another guy i met at kapow (there with a jumper) who was SERIOUSLY into it... a bit chilly on the sound, but apparently there is a fairly large community (given the size of that sport) out there as well... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

(at least 4 segments in 22 episodes) i havent seen any of the BASE episodes yet, so anyone know if they are worth checking out? xcorptv ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

to bad ignorance isnt painful....note: this is VERY simplified for you... i could easily discuss pulse-echo intervals, radar reflectivity at range, multiplicative jump estimation (used to primarily to average when your PLATFORM is in motion), wavelet scales, Doppler, Micro Doppler effects and sidebands but i can tell from your pseudo-intellectual commentary on Radar so far that i'd be wasting my time... so VERY SIMPLY.... 1. unless he was VERY close he would be unable to determine that the vibration of her vehicle could possibly be causing his instrument to read incorrectly. 2. He STILL has probable cause FOR THE STOP based on instrument readings.. IF after determining this reading might be due to excessive vibrations, he STILL GAVE HER A TICKET for speeding he would be wrong.. 3. IF her vehicle was vibrating significantly enough to cause vibrations that could confuse most modern handhelds AT A DISTANCE OF MORE THAN 10 FEET, he could have easily sited her for excessive noise in most jurisdictions... (that would STILL have to be pretty fucking loud) 4. Radar does not use 'vibration' to determine speed, at least not in the manner your post implies. A more accurate way to state it is that Radar uses timing of reflected waves... this timing could have been less accurate because of a vibrating target, however stating that radar uses 'vibration', or would be significantly affected by the vibrations of the target in determining 'near' ground speed, simply shows you are ignorance on the fundamental principles of Radar.. 5. Tuning forks are used to calibrate LEO handhelds because they vibrate AT SPECIFIC SPEEDS for each frequency... unless she was listening to a very fast metronome (aka one that pulsed in beats per millisecond), very very loudly (and admittedly much rap music comes pretty close ) the vibrations of the target in conjunction with the return period of the radar wave are averaged over time (several seconds, a DAMN long time in the radar world) and even the cheapo handhelds would have either given an 'accurate enough' reading of her speed to cue the LEO that it was excessive, or been fooled enough to NOT RETURN a specific speed at all.. (Commercially available Radar 'jammers' use this principle to prevent accurate enough readings for ticketing..) Solomon may have been wise, but he obviously doesnt know shit about Radar or Wave Theory... i've seen the tapes, she brought this incident entirely on herself by escalating a bad situation SHE put herself in in the first place...IMO the officer should have pepper sprayed her instead of tazered.. it has less significant physical effects and would have most likely rendered her very compliant long enough to cuff her... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

nope, not once.. i can spot fake tits a mile away.. and i've ALWAYS wondered what she really looks like... same thing i think when i see a woman plastered in face paint.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

real. in every aspect.... fake tits usually means you have to fake other facets of your life as well... accept 'what you have' and who you are...if you can change it without adding unnatural additions do so (exercise etc)..... but relying on surgery is NEVER an improvement when viewed naked under the sun... ive seen good boob jobs and bad ones, i have yet to see a woman i thought looked better with plastic beach balls under her skin... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

about fucking time... there have be qualified female pilots for a while now... but even in a 'progressive' organization like the air force attempts to be it takes a while to overcome institutional prejudice.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

unless it specifically has an exclusion.. (the majority of companies i have checked with do not have such, i would never work for one that discriminated in such a manner..) it should cover you no matter what you do to break yourself.. but who knows.. maybe you work for one that does... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

gotta love definitions so broad that nearly anything can fit under them, and nearly anything can be avoided by a simple addition of "you are exihbiting {insert label of your choice} behavior... in fact, but the strict application of 'the definition' , iam about to commit a personal attack..... Ron... you are a SKYDIVER.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

well if its not during 'quiet hours' and you cant hear it 15 feet away from the building (depends on juristiction) there isnt much you can do... it is simply part of apartment life... i sleep odd hours quite often (fortunately i can sleep thru nearly anything) every now and then the next door neighbor cranks up the stereo while they clean the house.. (i can hear the vac too) as long as they dont bitch when i return the favor on occasion ( i [play bass) who cares?? if you cant put up with it then you should have moved long before... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

I learned a lot in tunnel time--- now, why am I rocking back and forth?
Zenister replied to Rettrae's topic in Wind Tunnels
because it's meaningless for discussion purposes and does nothing to help anyone understand your actual ability level.. should we all change our profiles to say 'student'? even those with multiple coach ratings?? look at it this way.. i've been fencing for almost 20 years, i've coached both formally and informally at several salles and colleges world wide and participated in a couple of actual duels..... yes, absolutely i still study every new (to me) resource i come across, take lessons whenever i can and DO still learn every time i fence even against a rank beginner.. but i would be completely misrepresenting myself if i walked into a new salle and said "hi, i'm a student fencer" I actually felt bad the one time i did this to a demonstration team at a Renaissance Fest.. the crowd laughed, but really disarming him did more harm to the demo than good... at least one person said "see I told you it was easy!!" the difference is, when someone says "i am a student" it generally means "I am a student {inset field} skydiver, fencer, cook, teacher etc..." (still learning the basics) not "I am a student of {insert field} (continuing to refine ones skill level) i mean sure it might be a great joke on the coaches, but what would be the benefit of a member of airspeed (assuming they were not recognized) signing up as a participant for a beginner (student) tunnel class?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -
hmmm i'd pay tandem rates to run that for a weekend from Kapowsin Field... just to make the point... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
