    I have no problem with people doing drugs or drinking. Everyone has their own lifestyle.     I made a 1.1 square foot 5 cell last year and the only way I could pack it was by flat packing it. I used a small bag of dried beans as the jumper. I would take it up with me on a jump then while under canopy i would take it out of my little cypress pouch and let it go. Never did get the weight and glide ratio right so it would fly beside me. it floated and disapeared behind me. There is always this season. This time I have f-111 instead of an old sheet cut up.     In Canada CSPA has a chat list that is hosted on a server. Only people that are members of the chat list can send mail to it. you can get info on it at http://www.cspa.ca/cspa/Contact/Website.jsp I have also set up an address with my service provider and I have it auto forewarded to everyone at my DZ. People were having a hard time keeping track of everyones addresses so now they only have to remember one and everyone gets the mail. So far this has worked out great but once spammers find out the address I know I will have problems. I have also set up a yahoo group and invited everyone to join but only 2 people joined. What I do is when someone new starts jumping regurlary I ask them if they want to be on the list and just add the address. Hope this helps.     The company I work for is for sale and we are hoping that IBM will buy us. I have left girls because they did not approve. There are a lot of marrages that have ended because of Skydiving. I remember something that one of the older jumers at my DZ told me . His wife was giving him a hard tiime and he told her "I would rather have a parachute on my back than you on my back!"     Where I live we only jump in the summer and mostly only on the weekends. I book my 16 days vacation in 2 day periods. I have 8 weekends scheduled opff this summer and I will pay people 20 for each shift they are willing to trade with me so I can have more weekends off. I figure it is only 4 pack jobs to make up the $20. Last summer I got laid off in may. I had the best summer of my life.
