Christian Ministry to Skydivers

Correction: From Websters Dictionary "1. One who disbelieves or denies the existence of a God, or supreme intelligent Being. 2. A godless person." I for one am a "godless person" I sometimes call myself an athiest and sometimes call my self an agnostic. It does not matter which one you call me I do not beleive in a god or many gods. My wife is Pagan and even she gives me crap for not believing in something. All I know is that I am a good person and treat others as I would like to be treated. No I do not beleive in heavin or hell also. Make the most of your life because you only have one. FYI here is some history on the word Agnostic for anyone that wants to haggle the meaning. " An agnostic does not deny the existence of God and heaven but holds that one cannot know for certain whether or not they exist. The term agnostic was fittingly coined by the 19th-century British scientist Thomas H. Huxley, who believed that only material phenomena were objects of exact knowledge. He made up the word from the prefix a-, meaning “without, not,” as in amoral, and the noun Gnostic. Gnostic is related to the Greek word gnsis, “knowledge,” which was used by early Christian writers to mean “higher, esoteric knowledge of spiritual things” hence, Gnostic referred to those with such knowledge. In coining the term agnostic, Huxley was considering as “Gnostics” a group of his fellow intellectuals“ists,” as he called themwho had eagerly embraced various doctrines or theories that explained the world to their satisfaction. Because he was a “man without a rag of a label to cover himself with,” Huxley coined the term agnostic for himself, its first published use being in 1870." Sorry I did not know that there was separate landing area for Students. I only have 112 jumps and have never jumped out of anything but Cessnas. We have no more than 5 jumpers i the air at once and have one huge landing area. TOT TOT www.SkydiveMoncton.com To my wife: 'If you ask me to stop skydiving, you are asking me to move out!'

Rigger? Mabey I am braging here but in Canada we do not need a rigger to hook up our main canopy. TOT TOT www.SkydiveMoncton.com To my wife: 'If you ask me to stop skydiving, you are asking me to move out!'

I am sorry but my experience is not good enough to land downwind. If the first guy dow is flying a HOT canopy and surfing then yes he will be landing downwind But I alone am responsable for my own life and it will be a cold day in hell when I do something stupid just because someone else did. just my 2 cents worth. They probably have the max exit weight set at 254 so they can always max out the number of jumpers on each load. they only have 2 cessnas. TOT TOT www.SkydiveMoncton.com To my wife: 'If you ask me to stop skydiving, you are asking me to move out!' -

If we stoped people from adding attachments to posts and everyone made clicky links to the pictures, this might cut down on bandwidth. I dont know about you but I would pay for the email option. Thank you for your response. I will keep you in mind for when I am ready to take the Rigger Course. Daughter has a pierced tongue....Where did I go wrong?
loughery replied to steve1's topic in The Bonfire
I would just let her make her own decisions. I find we learn more from our own choices than someone elses. If there is one thing i would have changed about my childhood, it would be my parents inability to let me make my own decisions. I am looking for some information on packing seminars. I am the chief packer at my DZ and have been teaching people to pack for the past year. This year I would like to begin giving packing seminars in the evening rather than teaching people during the day while there is jumping happening. I was wondering if somone has anything like an agenda or training info that might help me while I decide how I am going to run the seminar. I left my girlfriend when I first started skydiving because she was jealous of how much time i wanted to spend at the DZ. I have since met a girl and got married. She is great, She gladly drops me off at the DZ gates on saturday morning and picks me up Sunday night. TOT TOT www.SkydiveMoncton.com To my wife: 'If you ask me to stop skydiving, you are asking me to move out!'

Say goodbye to her because eventualy all your friends that dont skydive will eigther be so tired of listening to you talk about skydiving or you wont remember who they are because your priority will be the DZ. Everyone goes through this. Tell your friends that you can be found on sunny days at the DZ. They will get the hint. I learned a long time ago not to try to talk someone into trying it but you can say how fun it is and leave it up to them. PS. I am still jealous of your long Skydiving Season in AZ.
