Has anybody psycho packed an mPod? My normal bag has a slightly different packed shape now compared to when I used to pro pack it. Would this make a difference in using the mPod? Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com

Thanks for the offer but I found one today. Rigged it up, took the obligatory photo, now it's packed up for another 70 odd jumps until I can do a course. cheers Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com

Buggered if I know, that's why I want the manual. Website mentions the zippers and wing cut-away plus several others, that's why I'd like to read about the Phantom 1 I'm looking to buy, rather than the P2 manual I've already got. Thanks for that. Cheers Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com

Yep aware of the restrictions and not planning to wingsuit any time soon. I have the opportunity to buy a Phantom 1 from a friend that I know will fit me. I can download the Phantom 2 manual from Phoenix-Fly. I'd also like the Phantom 1 manual as there are a number of differences between the two suits. Thanks for your concern, I simply like to study as much as I can about my equipment. Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com

New Zealand jumpers, which dropzones?
bucketlistpilot replied to Honoruru's topic in Events & Places to Jump
3 or 4 different licencing organisations in NZ, can't remember/keep up with them all. Each dropzone jumps under a particular organisation, so you have to have their particular licence. If you jumped at all the places you listed you'd probably need at least 3 NZ licences. It's a friggin' joke! Christchurch and Motueka are very sport friendly, both have great vibe. Haven't jumped any others. Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com -
I wonder how the APF will spin this one into their bullshit ban on Argus Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com

Had one in student helmet for AFF 1 and had one ever since. Had my own as soon as I bought a helmet. After 102 jumps I've never had it go off without a canopy overhead. I don't rely on it, but I'll take every level of safety I can get. Maybe starting to jump at 46 gives you a different perspective though. I don't think that's what Koppel wants at all. Aussies (me included) are just a little frustrated that the APF made such a knee jerk reaction. Especially when rumours circulate that the person responsible for the decision has direct links to Airtec. Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com

Diploma in Commercial Skydiving, NZ, skydivingnz
bucketlistpilot replied to Bennef's topic in Safety and Training
So could anyone share them or at least PM me please? All the politics and bullshit aside, as a newbie sport jumper, I can't imagine being made more welcome. I've jumped with the students from around 5 course intakes over the last 15 months and they've all had a great commitment and attitude to everything they do. The instructors have been awesome and fallen over themselves to help an old fat guy discover a new passion. Thanks to them all. We had to look for an alternate runway/landing area yesterday though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB7lv6ZJCDw Ian Purvis http://www.loadupsoftware.com LoadUp DZ Management App admin@loadupsoftware.com -
