First off. my pattern SUCKED!!!! should have planned that out ALOT better before takeoff! I was on the crosswind leg of my pattern at 100 feet. i was trying to turn left so i could be facing into the wind.. when i did the turn ( i tried a slow flat turn) the canopy dove. i let up fast on the toggles, and it dove harder!! gave it a VERY full and fast flare. helped.. but not much. hit hard. i tumbled over and got dragged for 15-20 feet. that sucked!!! 2- What technique were you using to do a flat turn? Were you using half brakes? I had my left toggle by my shoulder and my right toggle level with my head. it was doing a nice turn at first but, it just dove... My insturctors told me.. 1. Dont turn like that below 100 feet. Just land it. even if crosswind. 2. if i start the flare to early DONT let up. just ride it out and PLF. 3. DONT try and run it out and stop the fall with your hands. 4. have the flight pattern visualized before you jump.. there were some other things, but this was the jist of it. He was really cool about it. after that one i had good landings! plus i got to jump with Jim some more!!!! got 4 jumps in today!! pretty sweet!!! "In this game you can't predict the future. hurts!! I was setting up my pattern, and didnt get it set up in enough time. i tried to do a slow flat turn, but it turned into a fast dive. I flared VERY hard and tried running as soon as i hit the ground, but i just colapsed and hit hard. drug me for about 15 feet. got a good talking to by my former insturctor and another instructor. well, guess i will stick with a 230 till i can guarntee a stand up landing. just did my first jump! amazing! took me a couple seconds to get stable though. its been over a week since my last jump. Landing was good.... But flew over the hangar Cant get on this load some im ganna go outside and watch the other newer people land. see what kind of pattern they are flying "In this game you can't predict the future. I havent had it in over 3 years.. so 3 mintues is weeeelll over my time!! plus.. i never really got into sex when i used to. it got kinda boring after the first.. 30 seconds? but then again.. i usually "finished" in a minute.. flat! Why do you think it might not be legal? i dunno.. because i wouldnt be landing at a designated DZ. It's not illegal to land off a designated DZ, as long as you file a notam and give the appropriate radio calls. and if i dont? ... Just curious.. i mean.. i dont think the police will bother with someone swooping in the park.. and then driving away.. by the time the even see it, most people will still be kinda shocked!. oh yea. this isnt something im planning on doing anytime soon! Just got ALOT of free time at work, so i was looking at trikes and maybe getting a Ultralight airplane.. that would be soooooo awesome!!

from a trike? Just curious. If i bought a 2 person trike, and my buddy flew it, could i jump from it? Ive been doing research and some of these trikes can go upto 10 thousand feet or higher! Has anyone heard of this?
