  1. That picture NEVER gets old Performance Designs Factory Team
  2. As Matthew said they're a PD sponsored team, but are not part of the factory team. John Hart owns, and sponsors the team. Stu, Scott, Isaiah or Kaz can probably answer that question better though
  3. While I don't pretend to know what the PDFT's end game is, I don't believe they are 'one step below'. Some names on that list have significant accomplishments in the competitive arena (Nick, Tommy, Jess, Marat, etc). Judging from the list, there's a good group with a variety of strengths in a variety of areas. I think it'll be interesting to see how the PDFT mold the final four. Time will tell
  4. Results are up - congrats to all that made it, I look forward to flying with you in January.
  5. I found this on the PD blog today http://www.thepdblog.com/pdblog/2008/11/x-project-excitement.html I guess that means we'll know by tomorrow sometime
  6. Nope, sorry. I'm sure that someone in SA must have it though. I believe all the registration stuff is already complete (from each country). Anyone on the organizational end over there able to pass that info along? Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  7. No problem, I've made the same mistake. Just make sure that you click UPLOAD attachment after you've browsed to the file you want to attach. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  8. Hans has been training hard, and going FAR. Damn fat kids I hope the bastard isn't sitting behind me on the flight out!!!! Performance Designs Factory Team

  11. Deleting opinions we don't agree on is just not what we do. Hell, if we did, I'd be deleting a LOT of posts Bill has ALWAYS been a very fair moderator - I'd guess it was either an accident that your posts were removed with a cleanup, or your posts needed cleaning up themselves. Bill and I have WILDLY differing opinions on some issues and I've always been able to discuss them with him. I think it's pretty poor form come bitching here instead of dealing with it directly with Bill. If you don't have any luck with that, there are other avenues - publically bitching about moderation though...well, IMO, that's pretty poor form. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  12. Well, the time is almost on them. Best of luck to the US world team. I know you guys (and gals) will do great - I'll be cheering you on from the bleachers! To everyone, no matter the country you're representing, attending the meet - hope you have a safe, and successful meet. See you all there. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. Whoops! Now I guess I should have said rogue. Performance Designs Factory Team
  14. Absolutely. I don't believe she cared for anything but herself during the campaign. This belief is strengthened by: She wanted to make her own concession speech Went all 'mavericky' and brought up Ayers before it was signed off on Went 'rouge' by reports doing her own thing Touted her DS baby around like an attraction shamlessly pandering for votes Her outlandish shopping spree I believe Palin did what SHE thought was best for HER, not the campaign. I think McCain could have been a strong contender if he'd picked someone better. She's no better than Hillary, except a lot less educated and has no ability to realize how in over her head she was/is. You don't think she got the nickname "Barracuda" by being a nice person now do you? I realize this are my opinions, and not fact, but it's the lens I see her through. Also, I don't think McCain is without blame for losing this election, so don't think I'm only pinning the loss on her. To be fair I believe MOST politicians are power hungry (not all), but most. I have no reason to believe she cares about anyone but herself. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  15. what was that? "I'm rubber and you're glue?" Sad. Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. Nope. Biden got virtually no airtime at all. Palin was on, at rallies, etc, being covered a lot more. She was also on SNL, which gave her a lot of exposure (and not negative). I would say Palin got a LOT more positive exposure than Biden did. Palin also got negative coverage though - gaffe, after gaffe, after gaffe. Frankly, based on his reputation I'm surprised Biden didn't gaffe more (and would have hence been covered more) - but the fact is, he rarely did. The media, quite simply, are going to report the most interesting/sensational stuff since it's what people will watch. Palin provided plenty of it - hardly the media's fault. 17. Yep - the media's fault Performance Designs Factory Team
  18. Well, without looking at the internals and how the questions were asked (which I am not going to do) I can only say it is what it is. This one is for you http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/06/pub-global-poll-finds-obama-preferred-countries/ The section of the article that said the US was the only country that didn't support Obama was CLEARLY proved inaccurate this tuesday since Obama convincely beat McCain. So, by the links you provided, you've help reinforce he (obama) is a good choice and that the entire world thinks so. Thanks! Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  19. I think a lot of us did. At first I thought she was a brilliant choice. Unfortunately as we started to learn more and more about her it became clear that she was more damaging than positive. I'm curious how the process for chosing a running mate goes - someone must have thought she was a good choice - I'm curious as to why. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  20. I don't think you'll find this is a single person. She's a problem for the GOP, and I think you'll see them be more public about that now that they haven't won the election. I can totally understand them keeping it under wraps until this was all over, it would only hurt their cause more. Now, though, the public can be made aware of just how bad a pick she really was.
