  3. Whatever Chris, it's clear you have no real understanding on how ad-rotators, or websites in general work. Now, if you have something constructive to add, please by all means do so, but right now that's clearly not the case. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  4. Before today, I didn't think my opinion of Coors Light could be any lower. Those were the days. I don't think you can blame this on Coors Light. And I don't think you can blame anyone but the virus makes for the virus. Performance Designs Factory Team

    Obama

Frankly I'm surprised that anyone who bothered to find out anything about Obama would be surprised by his mixed cabinet. He has ALWAYS been a proponent of opposing views in his administration. I believe he cites Lincoln doing the same thing a fair amount. It's no secret that I'm left leaning and voted for Obama, and I really like the idea that he's mixed it up so much. I hope, when in office, he's able to fulfill my expectations of his administration. I know I'm not always going to agree with his choices, but so far he seems on the right track. 6. If you're into that sort of stuff, I have links to more videos of women kicking men... I'm not surprised one bit Remi Performance Designs Factory Team
  7. Song sucks, but lordy is the video hot! Performance Designs Factory Team
  8. There are already animal anti-cruelty laws in place. They should be subject to the full extent of those, as well as their other crimes. John, really, sometimes I wonder what you're driving at. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  9. Epic fail, John. Just epic. Performance Designs Factory Team
  10. Normally the pocket is on the rear of the pilots leg - the drag in this configuration is minimal. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  11. Don't worry man, it'll be alright with time. My ex-wife cheated on me too. I too, had pictures, and I too thought about posting/distributing them. However, once the emotion cooled off I was glad I didn't - I suggest you don't too - destroy them and move on, that's what I did. The universe has a funny way of balancing things out though - she's now married to someone who cheated on his wife too for a few years. That divorce is going to be funny to watch when the time comes. Karma is a bitch, and you'll eventually get what you deserve...and so will they Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  12. NICE! Greg, I'm proud of you buddy (and everyone else too). Sorry Annie and I couldn't be there to cheer you all on today but it seems like we were bad weather luck anyway LOL. Keep us posted!! Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. Some teaser pics from the event posted here Enjoy! Performance Designs Factory Team
  14. A few teasers from the World Cup. And yes, Drew was just fine after his 'landing' Performance Designs Factory Team
  15. But I'm not competing I have the shirt on stand-by though!!! This is one HELL of a meet - lots of great flying, it's been a blast to watch (something I don't normally get to do). Good times, with good people. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. Well, today was a wash. The poor folks spent all day on the ground. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow. On the plus side, Stu (at dinner tonight) had what has to have been the most peppery steak known to man. The guy was literally crying as he tried to finish it off. Not to be outdone Hans, and Greg, decided to try and eat a 1kg steak, all in between harassing Nick Batch by filling his coke with beer and toothpicks! Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  17. I'll be there. Performance Designs Factory Team
  18. Just to clear something up - the JVX definitely has a shorter recovery arc. It does dive just as much as a velo while turning though, but as soon as the pilot stops it begins to recover much faster. This is quite apparent by how low, good, jvx pilots are rolling their wing out and how quickly it recovers. Kevin Love, once of Team Extreme, described it to me as a 'super stiletto'. That said, I think Mike (Frost) said it best. There are many, many different factors that should go into picking a canopy. Each pilot will have different criteria for these factors, and what they are will help determine which wing, which company, and which price are best for them. All the manufactures have their own unique traits in the customer service department, as well as the way their canopies typically fly. Demo, or borrow someones, to try and see which one's fit your personal criteria. We all have different tastes. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  19. Admit it - it makes you hot......or dry heave! Performance Designs Factory Team
  20. I've jumped at a fair amount of dz's over the years, some using the FMD, some using a set direction, and some having no clear rule at all. Hands down, I believe the set direction is the best way to go in all but the most extreme of environments. Every single DZ I've ever been to that uses the FMD rule has criss cross issues, particularly on light and variable days. FMD is also counter productive in encouraging people to plan their landing patterns, and approaches, responsibly and considerately since no-one really knows which way it's going to be. We plan skydives, why should landings be any different? Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  21. Hey why wont you stop being a pussy and tell me who you are...pussy....have fun playing tough guy behind your computer screen!!! Go out and do some real skydiving asshole!!! Personal attacks are not permitted on DZ.com, and especially here. Come back in 5 days when you've had time to cool off. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  22. This is bound to cause some controversy so I'm locking the thread. This doesn't really belong in the swooping forum. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  23. LOL - the video is quite bland, I assure you. there's no swooping, just interviews. You'll be disappointed
  24. Thanks for the support Bob. It's been a fun journey so far. I'm really excited to be a part of this, and can't wait for Florida in Jan. It's going to be a tough road, but things worth doing are never easy
