    My bag barely fit the velo96, and it barely fit the blade 98. I was surprised myself, but I chalked the extra pack volume up to the far thicker material of the canopy.     Yeah I saw that. Problem is that I have a commitment to my DZ most weekends this year (and the ones I have off I'll be at swoop meets!!) so I won't be able to make that. Of course the excessive jumping I plan on doing all year should make up for it

    Cool thing about doing it that way is that you truely get to compare apples to apples (well kinda anyway). Seeing as you're familiar with the tri 170 you'll get a better feel for how a similar sized sabre2 will fly and can better compare the differences.     Umm no. Use your legs to move around the sky so that you can use you hands to take docks. Along those lines...learn to sitfly first. I find it amusing how many people can fly on their head, but can't take a simple dock in a sit. You've got to be well rounded if you want to be good. Sitflying is the "boxman" of freeflying, and is also less prone to rapid movement (in comparision with HD) across the sky. Build a solid foundation and the rest will come.
