  1. Our house is 15 mins from the Airport. It would be no problem to pick you up. We do have some other guests coming June 10 - 14th and I have a swoop meet the weekend of the 19th in Tallahassee but other than that we're open
  2. The following weekend Katie and I will be back "Home" at Skydive Atlanta. Make sure you stop by and visit us there! Performance Designs Factory Team
  3. That has certainly been my experience in the past. Without a doubt some of the nicest people I've ever met have been labeled "freaks"....normally by the "in crowd". There's definately some irony there Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  4. Coming out to neighbors? Not sure who/if anyone is going, but my wife and I will head out there if you'll be around. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  5. That's why I don't have a birdman suit. I just love flying my canopy way too much Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  6. Just a standard skydiving rig for me. 2 Canopies with the appropriate handles. The rest I have because I choose to have them - I've jumped without all of these at some point in my career - I just prefer not to given the choice. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  7. I'm sure I'll get crap from some of those who didn't wait for saying this but BRAVO! I support the idea 100%. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  8. Both systems have their pro's and cons. Quote of Bill Booths post in another thread (Link here) I have throw out, I like it but I don't think pull out is some evil monster either. Eh? Pullouts can have premature deployements too - for different immediate reasons than a throw out, but both are avoidable with good gear maintenance and a good check prior to leaving the plane. 9. heh yeah - it's a great example of a song that would have made the list anyway, yet was skyrocketed to the top but making a horrible song, even worse. See, anything is possible if you put your mind to it
  10. William Hung doing that Ricki Martin song "She "Bangs or something like that. Hands down the worst.song.ever. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  11. If you'd been down @ Skydive Atlanta you could have put a lot of numbers in there......so...when you moving back Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  12. Ya know I hear that stuff's been going around and that peak season is June 5 and 6th...strange co-incidence don't ya think Sounds like a plan! We'll be there! Have fun in x-keys Blue ones, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. Dee, Don't listen to Sharon - she's just trying to keep the pleasures of "The Shocker" all to herself. When you get down here I'll be sure to show you what it's all about Oh...and Sharon....you know you like it Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  14. Yeah but very realistic. Sometimes people try and box themselves in too much. I think you nailed the important points, the rest are just details Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  15. The thought of you naked sends shivers down my spine (and not in a good way Chris). No you're not...dirty yes, nice no Hope to see you at Skydive Atlanta June 5,6 for the Anniversary Festival (Dave Brown organizing $15 to 15000 in 8 minutes). Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. HEH!! Yeah that's exactly what she's referring to Ever since I got such a wonderful reaction out of her explaining exactly what "the shocker" is, I've been running around doing the symbol for Sharon whenever I can See you there! Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  17. For you and Greg, we ALWAYS have space...in fact we have a nice guest bedroom for just such occasions Hope you guys can make it! Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

To celebrate this they are offering $15 jumps from 15000 feet from the King Air which takes 8 minutes to 14000 ft!!! Dave Brown will also be there coaching for those dates so come on out and check us out. Mark it on your calendars, it's going to be a blast. 19. Humps:Jumps:Firsts 1:16:0 Nice bigger way HD stuff with Jon Pinyon, swooped the piss outta the hanger again. Good times with friends. Really doesn't get any better than this Blue ones, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  20. Jumped without one for a long time. Now I have a "Jack the Ripper". Never needed to use it, but like others have said it's a cheap thing to have and I'd rather never need it but have it, and need it and not have it. I will, comfortably, do jumps without one though. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  21. You are ABSOLUTELY kidding yourself if you think we can get that country in decent shape without occupying it for longer than our lifetimes (and probably our childrens too). You can't get rid of that kind of hatred. It has to fade over the generations, and even then all you have to do is look at racism (and how parents/friends influence children to do the same) and realize there are ALWAYS going to be those who hate others because they're different. Hell you can see the venom in some peoples posts (particularly religious and political ones) to see that we're just as intolerant of others. These people have been fighting for a long time, we're not going to be able to change that anytime soon. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  22. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! You're an adult, you make your own choices, I can't make you do anything you don't want to do. So have fun, and try not to hurt anyone else while you're at it. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  23. Yep, however there is a difference between doing the material you SHOULD be doing, vs the material you WANT to do. Learn to walk before you run. Blue skies Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  24. I'm gonna step in here (use my rear risers on almost every landing), and there are a couple of things I feel we should point out. Depending on the canopy and your rear riser "style" it could be less pressure. If you're the type of pilot who has a "pulling down" motion on your rears(more toggle storke like), it requires significantly LESS pressure than if you're a "push out" motion pilot. I prefer the push out motion as it distorts the canopy less because it requires more pressure to level the canopy - basically it makes overcompensation harder (although not impossible
  25. Wow - little touchy there eh? Never said I was right or left wing. You make assumptions like Bush it appears? He said there were weapons, so far there are not...it's really hard to make it much clearer than that. I could draw you a diagram but I don't think it'd do any good. Lighten up on the attitude there buddy. Performance Designs Factory Team
