My pro dytter is set to 5 3 and 2.. The first one I'll adjust based on what we've discussed as the break off altitude. I pull at 3.5 most of the time. The other 2 are set so that I should NOT hear them under normal circumstances. I used to have both of them set 500ft higher. I have a snively canopy and was regularly getting the flatline . After some thought and some good advice from here, I set my last two lower. This way, I don't get used to pulling when I hear the pull tone since machines DO FAIL. I'm holding out and trying to be the first to get their D under the NEW rules... I may just wait and apply for my C after 9/30 just for the hell of it.. I'm the same as Cornholio, I'll have the #'s regardless. I do think the "D" is meaningless at this point. A C means more to me under the new rules than a D does. Be serious, what's it get me? another #? I'm not going to be competing anytime soon, and it's not like I'm going to get any more respect for having a D or something... Maybe that'll change.... Camping? Prolly not... It looks like I'll be driving down to Benicia (well, my deisgnated DRIVER will be driving to Benicia) However, I do have a 4 man tent that I could set up for just in cases.... way cool!! However, looking at the charts, I'm seeing a disturbing trend. It seems that the traffic here drops in half over the weekend. I think the 18k loads are $25, at least they were last year. JT's are $18 a pop or blocks of 10 for $169. Me thinks they have 25 blocks that are even cheaper. Heli jumps last year were $35 .. NM... OOO OO if'n you're ever up in San Francisco, go to Cafe Neibaum on Columbus. They have a wine sampler dealio of 6 or 7 of Coppola's picks. Some really good stuff.
