Skyesspot (Dz.com ) has been there a few times. She says that it's basically a Boot camp for off roading. Ya might want to PM her for more details. Yeah.. I'll second that.. That's what I am using as well (Jabber). I Had a server running at work for the techs to talk to each other. I was a little dissapointed with the web client tho, since you had to use IE.There's also gateways for AOL , Yahoo and I think MSN. It'll be intersting tho cause MSN and I believe AOL are moving to a platform that won't allow 3rd party vendors to connect. The commercial product is pretty snazzy but the GNU is just as good. LOL... as a matter of fact, one of my HOME projects is to build an IM server... It'll be a two or three weeks til it's live on the net. I agree completely with Bill on this... and an example... About 7 years ago, me n my (now ex) wife were'nt doing too well financially. We had a ratty ole Honda civic that just up n died on us leaving us carless. My daughter was just a few months old at the time. One of my bosses wife had just bought a new car. Out of the kindness of her heart, she gave us her old pickup truck. That truck served us well. We called it "God's truck" because it was a blessing. Three years ago, my X got a new car. She knew a single mom of 3 who didn't have a car. That single mom now is driving God's truck. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. 2:2:0 2 Nites in a Row not having kids. I kinda forgot what THAT feels like :) Skye n I threw our Welcome to the new place party on Friday nite. Lots of fun n good friends everywhere. Got out to Byron on Sat in the first time in ages, practiced my headdown and followed a 3 way train out the door... IF you haven't sit flown with Tall guy, it's a definite must.
