if you look on Ebay, you can get decent laptops for around $100 or so.. Take a look at the IBM 570's. They're the slim lines , have decent sound and are P2's. Wireless, you can get a gateway and card for around $75 or so now.... Would you rathe spend the $300 on a box that does nothing but feed your stereo or spend about the same and get a laptop and wireless out of the setup? I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. That's what I'm hoping for as well.. At the very least, I hope they put it back on for Oct and get this over with since the ball's already rolling. I do think that they should have scheduled it with the next general election but that's a moot point and now just want to it to be done and over with. Like I've stated elsewhere, I'm also concerned that RECALLS will become the norm if this does go thru. you don't necessarily need to have a big hard drive for the PC you hook up if you do wireless. My setup has my server in the basement and a pc in the living room plays them. I've also ran it off my laptop and never had an issue with streaming the MP3's on 802.11b I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. I play mine directly from my PC to my stereo. I went down to radio shack and bought a 25" mini (DIN? the little plug like headphone plugs) male to female and a converter that changes from the mini plug to 2 standard RCA which goes into the back of my stereo. Sounds damned good for me. I was thinking of taking an old laptop I have lying around, install Red Hat on it and use some of Winamps's Web plug ins to edit my play list from anywhere in the house. That'll be after I get my IM server running and my domain's web site designed.. shessh.. good thing I'm unemployed, I'd never get anything done.. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. I can only repeat what everyone else has said.. practice n practicem practice again. You'll get the hang of it and after awhile you'll be One tip that helped me a lot came from B2. When you're ready to S fold it and put it in the bag, make a fold in the middle then take the top and fold it down to get half of your S fold. Put it in the bag. Grab the canopy right near the lines and fold it over to get the other half of the S fold and put that in the bag in the middle..
