Lots of misleading information and outright lies in this For example, CA tax rate of 13.3% only applies to people making over 1million per year. As others have noted, some states (FL and GA are purposely misrepresenting Covid case and death #'s The graphic also does not take into account Tx 45b pension debt, nor does it take into account that FL and TX receive a disproportionate share of federal aid https://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/Texas-Gov-Abbott-infographic-COVID-19-Newsom-15278727.php Think there's a reason Gov Abbot deleted his retweet of this? Hmmmmmm........

My anecdotal evidence is similar to Wendy's. My step daughter and her fiance got really sick in March. Her Dr said it sounded like the flu and to self quarantine to be safe. After a week of being sick, she was tested for Covid 19 and got her positive results back more than 2 weeks after she recovered. Her fiance was never tested

I think you're reading that data wrong. It's in fact saying that Ohio would need to perform more than 14k tests daily to come up to the baseline testing recommended by the Fed in order to open by 5/1

NorCal bay area sheltered in place on March 16th (my birthday) My work switched from "work from if you can" to "you must work from home" on 3/10..

By town, 8 cases with 38k population county population ~1.1million I believe only Seattle area has been on SIP longer than we have

Here in NorCal, we're in our 2nd week of shelter in place. We are allowed to go out for essentials and to exercise, but must socially distance. Last weekend, the local parks were fuller than a holiday because people weren't abiding by the rules. In response, the parks district is now closing most of them

A town in Italy just did something similar and haven't had a new case in 10 days. Basically, they tested everyone, and caught most of the people who were asymptomatic https://www.ft.com/content/0dba7ea8-6713-11ea-800d-da70cff6e4d3

I just got one too for posting something about Amazon not taking shipments to their warehouse and posting a link to the NY post article.... Whatever....

But the Bay Area unemployment rate is under 3%, currently @ 2.3% https://www.bls.gov/eag/eag.ca_sanfrancisco_msa.htm

For what it's worth, Clinton's impeachment inquiry was initiated 10/8/1998, and he was impeached on 12/19/1998, a total of 75 days https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_of_Bill_Clinton] Andrew Johnson's impeachment lasted a week https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_of_Andrew_Johnson Trump's impeachment proceedings started on Sep 24th, is currently on the 73rd day and there has not been a vote to impeach yet

I believe it's to outline a potential abuse of power charge by getting rid of her because she stood in the way of Guiliani's efforts

One can argue that the original document, State is capitalized, which means it's a proper noun referring to the United States, not a state of being
-
In some respects, I think you are correct. I thought Swiss service in the military is compulsory, whereas this would be entirely volunteer

I read an opinion article this morning. The author was suggesting that in order to purchase a gun, one would have to enroll in a military reservist for as long as they owned the gun. The arguments for it are that gun owners would have to do basic training and then serve one weekend a month , would have to pass the standard military background check and mental health evaluations and would also bolster our military reserves which are declining. Again, just an opinion piece but something to ponder

In the original post, you were quoting from someone else's article, but now you're saying it's your words? And I get it, I had friends that were black, puerto rican, italian, and even a couple of irish kids. I lived in a very italian neighborhood. Everyone I associated with had a self identified ethnicity, but never used those derogatory terms to describe themselves.

I grew up on the other side of the GWB in the 70's and I never ever heard spic, wop, spook, or kike used as a badge of honor. You would get your ass kicked if you called anyone that to their face

but, I want to talk about curing meats!!!
-
I don't understand your point. Do you think letting the meat sit will allow the nitrates to leak out? FWIW, nitrates (saltpeter) have been used to cure meats since the middle ages
-
I read an article recently that stated Hillary would have won if every state doled out EC votes based on percentage
-
I know I know.... Hillary did it first

IIRC they were the same people that thought GWB's "evidence" to justify invading Iraq was actually true. Funny...the Times seems to think there are WMD's in Iraq. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/10/14/world/middleeast/us-casualties-of-iraq-chemical-weapons.html from the article, the were abandoned unusable munitions from the 80's I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Are those the only two choices? I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. eat sushi, get smoochieTTK#1

I have not heard this. Citation? That's an easy Google Search. The key portion of his post is "ALL". Yes , Avenetti and Swetnick were referred to DOJ to be investigated. Neither Ford or Ramirez have recanted or been referred to DOJ for investigation However, you CAN find that Trump has falsely stated that Ford has recanted I promise not to TP Davis under canopy..
