Would it be a safe assumption that 7 cells are generally snivelers? I have an Omega and not only is she a sniveler, but I have heard other Omega owners opinions as being snivelers as well. I have also read in these forums that Omega's are comparable to Spectre's. I know it's a reach.... I'm just trying to learn I've got to stop wishing, got to go fishing, I'm down to rock bottom again....

Hmmmm... I don't remember using Remedy at Williams, but then again, they had just bought out that division from NorTel and it was SOO long ago. Was the Magic that you had at McLeod the latest incarnation, being Web based using IIS and a SQL backend? From the presentation, it looks to have all the features that we'd like to implement, and most of the criteria that I have set. I just wish Remedy were an option.... sigh I understand completely how good a product is based on how it is implemented. My last position used Remedy except the Schema was completely redoneby our parent company in Germany... I made due with it the best I could and fought like a banshee to get some of the functionality from the standard schema put back in... Andy.. Rationality Suite? Is that part of magic? I didn't hear it mentioned in the pres.... Chromie.. What am I going to do with you, you shtinkin PW :) I've got to stop wishing, got to go fishing, I'm down to rock bottom again....

I was interested if any of you Techies have any experience with Magic from Network Associates... Any likes, dislikes? I am partial to Remedy but that's not an option in this position I've got to stop wishing, got to go fishing, I'm down to rock bottom again....

It hit the University last Friday. This is actually an old virus first discovered last Nov and only spreads if youare using MS OUTLOOK OR OUTLOOK EXPRESS. You also might want to note that it is another mass mailing virus BUT, it uses one of the the entries from the address book as the sender..... In other words, when you get the e-mail, it did not come from who it sad it did... I've got to stop wishing, got to go fishing, I'm down to rock bottom again....

Blonde (for being lazy and not clicking on your profile to use your real name), I am going to reiterate Quade's advice and let the lawyer do the arguing on this one..... This may sound strange and may not apply, but from MY experience, the only way to get out of a controlling relationship is to just walk away. Everytime you fight back, you are only giving in to that control and letting him get to you. You are letting the other person get to you and affect your life EVEN if it is a defensive reaction. I have found that in order to get out from a control freak is to just live my life as I saw fit and not let her (yes they come in all flavors) get to me. LEt the hired guns fight the battles, go on and live your life.... MY .02 I've got to stop wishing, got to go fishing, I'm down to rock bottom again....

Is it not possible to open up the firewall based on the IP of the server in the DMZ? Give me a sec and I'll grab my ruleset This is what I use to connect from my work to my home . This allows the the conenction to be setup from only this address. ${fwcmd} add pass log tcp from (my.ip.at.work) to any 21 in via ${oif} setup I also have another rule where any TCP connection that HAS been established will be let thru ${fwcmd} add pass tcp from any to any established Probably not exactly what you are looking for, but it allows me to establish a connection on the control port and let the software pick it's own port once the connection is made.... And those cubical walls can be very hard on the head :) I would guess that 99% of my posts have been idle chit chat. There have been a few times when I have offered my limited experiences to help others that are new to the sport where I can directly relate. I have never tried to offer my opinions as expert advice (excluding off Skydiving topics) and to be honest, when I do post seriously, it is usually a question that I do not understand and would like to know more about... gary I've got to stop wishing, got to go fishing, I'm down to rock bottom again....
