No, I don't, Amazon. In fact, I often have mixed feelings about mixing it up with Jo, as I don't want to add to her medical difficulties. But I can't stomach her deceptions and manipulative behaviors. I experience her as a bully in skirts, and I think it is important to stand up to her. That said, it is clear to me that Jo is unable and unwilling to answer any of my Cooper concerns directly, ie: who is Robbie Clampett and how did she get Tina's address. Rather, Jo is simply an attack machine. She calls me a snake and worse, but her behavior is like a ravenous shark - always moving, a-moral, and lethal. Hence, I challenge her, because I find such behavior dangerous. Also, when I write here I am often not speaking to Jo directly, but actually sharing insights for others to read. The silent and unseen folks here at the DZ may be the true audience for my words. I find that Jo feels the common rules of decency do not apply to her. But Jo is an exceptional case. She is beyond intrusive. She is constantly kneedling and digging, trying to weasel out information from people who investigate Cooper or post here, often bad-mouthing those who disagree with her or do not accept her canard. Over the past few years, Jo has called me at home on numerous occasions, almost nightly it seems at times. Even now in the past few months she has called me. Blithely, too, as if none of the vitriol she has dispalyed here had ever been mentioned. I told her that to continue our phone relationship I needed an apology from her for her verbal attacks on me here, in particular her expressed desire to see me receive bodily harm and to sue me in court. Yet, she has never apologized to me, and I doubt that she ever will. Hence, I do not linger on the phone when she calls on one of her "fishing expeditions" to see what I'm up to regarding Cooper.

Greetings 18E, This forum is only one place that Cooper is discussed. Another is in the realm of email exchanges. If you would like to communicate with me I'd love to share what I know about the case. Along those lines, if you would like a digital copy of my book, "The Investigation of DB Cooper - A report on the FBI's failure to crack America's only unsolved skyjacking," just let me know. It's free, and I exchange copies like this to get more factual clarity and a bettter sense of reader's sensibiltiies. It's like beta-testing for me. brucesmith AT rainierconnect DOT com.

Back to the skyjacking.... I read Brad Collins' book this evening, "My Father was DB Cooper - $200,000 in ransom and a parachute jump to an uncertain fate!" The book is deviod of substance. It has no facts, and no compelling evidence. The title says it all - "an uncertain fate!"? Brad should have waited until he was certain of what happened to his father before he went looking for a publisher. Clearly, someone else was asleep at the wheel at the publishing house as well, and their confusion is pronounced as they can't seem to decide whether the book is a novel or non-fiction. Oh, well. There was one interesting tidbit in the book that I found interesting but I doubt Brad fully appreciates: his father, John Collins, and his uncle, Bud Collins, both knew Ted Mayfield. If Brad understood this relationhip he might have gone digging into it a bit. Also, I think Mayfield's jump school was in Vancouver, Washington, too. Interesting, eh?

I take your comments to heart, Amazon, and will ponder.

Do you tell your circle of friends now that your former husband was DB Cooper - either in a bar or not? Along those lines, how do you share Duane's criminality socially? Do you tell anyone, or just save it for the Internet and your circle of friends here?
-
***...if you are acting like a whore you get what you deserve. I am surprised the judge sent Duane to prison. After all, he was doing his war duty on the home front policing and punishing servicemens' unfaithful wives, giving them "what they deserved". He should have received a Congressional Medal not a prison sentence. Jo, did it ever occur to you that ALL the derogatory information about the victims came from Duane the PERP? And he sure got you hook line and sinker. Blaming the victims is way beyond pathetic. If Duane had sexually assaulted them would they also be "getting what they deserved"? I mean after all they were "acting like whores". Nobody will ever accuse you of being politically correct Jo. I'm surprised Vicki or Amazon didn't jump you on this one. 377 Ahem, Mrs. Cooper, what's you beef with whores? After all, some of my best friends are whores, or at least escorts, or so they tell me.... ...it's not like they threatened to kill 42 people with a bomb, if you catch my drift.

You mom sounds like a great lady. Congrats.

Two cutaways? Does your mother know what you do for fun in life?
-
Damn! That was one gutsy jump. Exit at an estimated 350 mph, tumble, stabilize, pull so close to the ground that your hang time is about five seconds... and with only a chest reserve with a 24 ft unsleeved canopy, no altimeter, no goggles. Makes all my jumps seem like walks in the park, even my two cutaways. 377 I think you would really enjoy Robb's company, Three-Seven-Seven. Maybe we should have a Cooper Day in the Bay Area some time, eh?

But I was also contemplating including some Godiva chocolates. I admit, I do have trouble wooing women.

When you spoke with Mr. H and he told you that Tina lived in Gresham, did he also tell you why he never visited his primary witness in his biggest case even though she was a patient in the LHH and just down the road from his office and home?
-
Except for the 42 people he said he was willing to kill November 24, 1971.

Oh, Mrs. Cooper, you are much too humble. Despite the many years that you have lied to us, deceived us and teased us, you have never broken a sweat. You turn away every challenge to your latest claim, badgering everyone I know with impunity. Could Duane do as well? I think not. Could Duane get half of the DZ to help him with his computer glitches and "Poofs?" I doubt it. Who really wore the pants in your marriage? Duane? Nah, you're the one who walked away with the $100 bill wrapped about the Champaign bottle on your birthday, remember.

Wouldn't that be something, Georger, if Jo Weber is the real con here. Her skills at obfuscation completely outshine anything that we know that her husband performed in his life. Jo Weber as Mrs. Cooper is the real show. Not Duane Weber as Dan Cooooooooper.
-
Yikes, Mrs. Cooper. Just a few posts back you said that Duane knew where Tina lived in Gresham and you knew how he knew.

The staff told me, "She was a patient here." The current facility is clearly an assisted-living complex, coupled to a medical nursing home. The staff indicated to me that the structures and functions of the facility have not changed much in the past 30-odd years. HIPAA aside, the question remains: why is a 30-year old former FA a patient in an assisted-living/nursing home complex. C'mon, Mrs. Cooper, please tell us! Retirement? Or just taking a nice, long rest away from pesky reporters? Or maybe this is one of the places that folks recoup from MKULTRA treatments?

Whoa, Smoke- where did you get this information on Tina? Galen told me she left NWA in about 1973, then got married and moved to Sacramento. She has some missing years, '76-'78 or '79. Then the convent until '91, and then Life As We Know It in Oregon.
-
Sounds like you might be in a tight spot, now, Mrs. Cooper. Tina didn't "live and work" in Gresham. She was a patient in a nursing home/assisted-living facility there.
-
Time to Change Your Story, Mrs. Cooper: Recently, I went to Gresham to see where Tina lived and worked in 1979, as you and others have claimed. I went to an address that Galen had given me, which is now an assisted-living community and nursing home. In 1979, it had been the Lutheran Home and Health facility. Now, it is called the Good Samaritan Community. I talked to staff and was very surprised to learn that Tina did not work there at all in 1979. Rather, she was a patient.

That's too cool Hangdiver. It's obvious why the American Lady Corset Company never made skydiving canopies. 377 Whoa, Three-Seven-Seven. If I had an American Lady Corset parachute, I'd definitely start skydiving! Over Hollywood, too!! I'd even want to get a matching windbreaker and baseball cap!!! don't forget your loafers and briefcase An American Lady Corset briefcase? I think it would detract from the ALC baseball cap. No?

Absolutely. Ripstop is EASILY recognizable and looks very different than twill. I have examined photos of the Amboy canopy. The one showing the mfr data has decent resolution. I'm very sure that the canopy material is twill not ripstop. To me there are a lot of unanswered questions about the Amboy canopy. but none of them link it to Norjack. 377 Here's one of those questions, Three-Seven-Seven: What is the truth of the Amboy chute? Why are there so many different variations of the Amboy Chute Story? - road grader, not, buried, dug up, where, by whom, etc. When Meyer and I visisted Amboy, we were told a back-hoe dug it out intentionally, and not a road grader unintentionally. The story that Blevs heard from his interviewees at Ariel I have heard about six times from Amboy residents. It goes like this: "Oh, I know where the parachute was found. My sister used to be married to _____________, (or baby-sat for __________, or worked with the brother of______________) and he is the _______________of the landowners who dug up the chute. I forget the name of the people who found it, but their place is real easy to find. It's only about ______________miles from______________. You can't miss it." Ug. Further, if the Amboy chute is DBC's, then where is everything else? Body, dummy reserve, container, money bag, bomb, briefcase, paper sack, etc. If it's buried out there, is anyone looking? If not, why not?

Can you tell me who was involved with the dig? I'd love to talk with them. Also, where did they dig and why it is so hush-hush these days? Thanks.

No wonder you are broke & walk over the obvious forgetting to look down. Those trigger wires are very elusive. Boom! Why should I look down? I anticipate levitating, soon.
