    Quotejust got back from the convention and the version of the jet is a DC9-21 (if i'm right) and the only one in the US. exit speed is about 140kts. Well, guess this means that whatever the numbers WERE, we are at least ONE less right now. Just saw a couple of additional campers pulling in, and several more groups have called about coming this weekend, so it looks like we'll be having a pretty good crowd all in all.     FrenchCloud (Patrick Mercier) of Paris, France is currently here at the WFFC in Rantoul, Illinois. He came here originally 3 years ago when he was teaching French at the University of Illinois in Champaign. He has been a volunteer at the WFFC every year since then. I will ask him to respond to this question. He will be heading back to France when the WFFC is over.     I loved my 150, but the gas mileage was eating me up. I gave it away. It had 150,000 miles on it. My "new" truck, a Chevy S10 has 146,000 on it. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    Hey, this WOULD be a good weekend to post. hmm We had a terrific time, and spent most of the weekend at Skydive Superior. They were lucky this year, summer fell on the July fourth weekend, so they were busy and the weather was great all weekend. Lots of jumping going on, and many new faces for me to meet. One of the jumpers had us all over to his house for a cook out and fireworks. The grand finale of the fireworks included gasoline. It was quite the time! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    I love lantana! But the season here is much too short for them, and they never really mature like they do down south, so they are always these funny little things here, not bushy like they are there.
