    Hey...Jameson is about $86.50 a gallon... Drinking diesel would be cheaper... I was just thinking about the price of a gallon of Tequila when you posted that. Or heck, cheap wine for that matter is about 10 bucks a gallon. A gallon of wine, a tank of gas. Heck, I'll have to buy TWO gallons of wine at a time to save the trip to the store.     I know that in the US there are some states where it is required to put "Diabetic" on a drivers license, I suppose in the future they may plan to limit some diabetics from driving. I live in a state where it is not required. I too know many diabetic jumpers, and I know that when I excercise, my numbers go down, but nervousness makes them go up. I doubt that many dz's in the States would ask more than a passing question or two. For instance, I would ask, "when did you test last?, what were your numbers?" And then I would make sure that your instructor was well aware of your situation, before you did your training. Take your test kit, and some with you to the dz, make sure that you are honest in your answers to questions they may have and HAVE FUN!! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    There was a local lawsuit going on where a Chicago atty was representing a guy who was suing various governmental entities 3 hours away from Chicago. Several years into the lawsuit it became apparent that the guy was going to lose the lawsuits, but he wouldn't let it drop and just go away. He kept hoping that one of the entities would settle to get rid of him. His atty asked the judge to be let out of the representation of this client, and the judge commented something to the effect "you took this job on when you thought you were going to be made rich, you have to continue to represent your client, even though it's not going to make you rich" Eventually the lawyer went bankrupt, and the client lost the cases he had filed.     I guess it's the fact that they came back within a couple of days to steal the same wall all over again that amazes me. Heck, I wasn't really surprised when some idiot stole my dog house, but he didn't do it several days in a row. It's a lot of work to load those stones.     When you say "WE" are you refering to the big city WASP type "W"E or the urban/rural less than cosmopolitain type "WE", i ask because although I have enjoyed my 3 times in the States and will again in December. Traveling through the inland Lower states is kinda scary, the bigotry is out and proud. Cool...and there's no tensions with the aborigini down there? Racism is a two way street. This is an interesting comment. We have been noticing here that there are blacks who will NOT be voting for Obama, and our theory is that they may subconsciencely be thinking that their entire basis of being the down trodden oppressed society goes away when he suddenly "makes it". skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    A friend of mine lives four blocks from me on a major street with street lights. He woke up one morning last week and his retaining wall had been stolen. About a hundred concrete blocks. He called the cops, turned it into his homeowners insurance and a company came within a couple of days to reinstall the wall. Same night at 2 AM his wife is awakened by noise, and looks out of the window. A guy and a girl are out in the yard stealing the wall, loading it into a truck. His wife called the police, and come to find out, this couple were running a landscape business by stealing his landscaping. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    Steve provided a great seminar at Rantoul which was titled something to the effect "Human Error as a factor in the skydiving accident" A day or two later the QL accident happened and his life and so many others were changed forever. He was a great and giving guy, and we will all miss him. I really enjoyed our talks together. It seems impossible that he is gone. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    I'm thinking they are spending money on hairpieces they Don't need, instead of on glasses and mirrors that they Do need! We used to have a local bandleader who painted his hair on with shoe polish. I'll never forget the time he was conducting the band in the park and it started to poor rain.     I burn super easy, my mom and a couple of my sisters are red heads, so my skin thinks I am a red head too. When I work outside, I use SPF 32 everywhere, and I still burn every day. Unfortunately, I just had a mole removed that was "very very" dysplastic. I don't know how many "verys" there can be before you have cancer, but the long side of it is, I have to have more surgery in a May 23 to remove another 10 mm of tissue all around to make sure that the "very very" cells don't spread.     fixed it for you. That's where the money came from. Yea, and the sad part is, most people will spend it on crap MADE in CHINA, so they win TWICE, and our economy isn't stimulated at all. I added insulation to our house. Good old American Ground Up Newspapers, blown into the walls of my house.
