My kind of woodworking! One of my favorite diy jobs was the first week or so that Streaker and I were married. He cut all of the boards for a gate under the supervision of my brother in law, a great carpenter. He came home with all of the boards, laid them out on the hard wood floors and took out 16 penny nails to connect them to each other. He didn't stop til he was completely done nailing it totally to the floor. But the measurements were all precise! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

My son had a disease that ran about 100K a year. The out of pocket was unreal. I got used to really scrutinizing every single charge on every bill. When you call the hospital/lab/dr office and start asking "hey, why did you charge me for cable tv? I didn't ask for that?" or "why did you charge for the guy who pushed the wheelchair to the xray dept., I could have done that for free" They start dropping charges right and left. We have often been told that what the insurance company paid was plenty and that the rest of the bill would be dropped. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I am glad that you started this thread Gary! I saw Rich every year at the WFFC, but never really got a chance to get to know him until after the end of it. He was truly a gentleman, and he loved the air more than almost anybody I know! At an MASPC boogie a couple of years ago, he bought me breakfast at the EAA breakfast fly-in down the tarmac, and this year at the same boogie, I couldn't find him until after the breakfast was over. I promised him I would buy him breakfast next year, and it makes me sad to think that it won't happen now/ He was a terrific and humble guy, and will be missed by many. Struggling financially. Yard full of garbage. I'm thinking if I had more time (wasn't working so many hours) my house would be immaculate. But hey! Lets make it mandatory that all of the landlords have to install carbon monoxide detctors! It doesn't matter that the guy has been evicted 3 or 4 times previously, probably for not paying rent. I'm hoping that the person who "borrowed" your banner will see this and box it up and mail it to you. We had a couple of WFFC windblades "borrowed" one year, the very first year we had them made. We figured that was about $600.00 down the drain, but we made it known that we really LOVED and MISSED our windblades and low and behold, the next year, some very kind soul returned them to us. WOW! Congrats to you! Enjoy your warm shower and REAL bed! I'll bet you can hardly wait to put on nice clean new socks!
