there is a great artice on sit-flying on www.skydivemag.com covers all the basics. It helped me out a lot when i started. look in the articles section or do a search for head up flying. Good luck....

I jumped without one for my first 150 jumps till i could afford one. Now I wont leave the ground without one. Its not always easy to see your wrist mount in HD. In sit you should have no problem checking you alty with some pratice.

My sugestion is to take evasive manuvers do everything in your power or (skill range) to avoid the impact with out corking. If it comes down to the last instent I recomend the ball for the impact but do everything eles possible before going into the ball. I have taken several hits this way in sit I always ball up and take the hit on your side that way you dont jam any limbs into the oncoming missle. Just dont cork.

Allen, I jump a Heatwave 150 loaded at about 1.5:1 (im about 235 out the door) and I love it. I have had no problems with it at all. It opens great 600 to 800ft every time and I have not seen any oversteer at all. My Dad also jumps I Heatwave 150 and has about the same results as me. The only thing I have done was ordering it with a bigger slider.

BE ORIGINAL!!! There are to many poeple out there with the exact same tat because they stumbled into a tat shop drunk and pointed at the wall. DONT BE ONE OF THESE PEOPLE!! Have the artist draw something no one eles has.

I would go with a reg camera suit but with no booties. I can Ff in my camera suit but the booties are a pain in the arse.

Do what I did and find a tat artist that draws his\her own work. That way the tattoo you get is YOURS not something that 40 million other people have. If you are going to go through the pain better make sure you wont want to have it burnt off later. IMHO

Have you tried the gum? It worked for me. Also if you are craving that after jump smoke you can just pop in a piece of gum and its all cool.

Do a search on the net for a program called avi2mpg1 or avi2vcd not sure of the correct name but it is a great converter. and its free. Ive been able to squish avi's to a quater of thier size. Also try the DIVX codec works great for stuff on the web. Sam
