while living in the mountains at bridgeport for two weeks, we all learned 550 cord is worth it's weight in gold...i brought 3 times the amount of 550 cord the gear list specified (300 feet), yet i left with none remaining.. i also learned not to share with wasteful people and people too stupid/lazy to bring their own shit

1) trusty KA-BAR (w/ sheath and stone) 2) 550 cord & hooks 3) military issue poncho & liner 4) flint/steel fire starter 5) garbage bags additional items if i could.. -ar-15 & as much ammo as i can have (exchange Ka-Bar for issue bayonet) -cammies -another poncho -lots of socks -extra boots -sunglasses (and i could carry a lot more if i was allowed...everything else would be just to make it more pleasant)

in iraq, we borrowed a robot from the chaplain to help us keep watch in the Command Ops Center. he was known to us as Religious Program Specialist, Second class (RP2) D2. RP2 D2 never slept and was always on duty. here he is with an M-16A4, TA31RCO-A4
