    Actually more freefall is bad for newbies. PCA's or staticline jumps are not permitted at BD. The landing area is retaredly small for newbies. Hell it's small for a Pro Rated skydiver. Nothing good about putting a stopwatch on a jumper and making him/her feel the pressure to get off fast. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     Allowing first time jumpers at BD is fucking retarded. And yeah, he can be considered "first time" based on the ridiculous length between jump 1 and 2. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    I want it to grow the way it did when I first started learning about it. Mentors, and putting in dues. Tagging along to ground crew with no intent of jumping. That means more than once. Reading the fatality reports, and understanding them. Learning something about gear, and knowing when you don't know enough. Learning ethics at a Denny's late night after GCing. Respecting those that were jumping the local objects before you. For the most part, BASE training courses are becoming the death of this sport.     You had a reserve with a mesh slider? What was it? And is that the standard it would be sold with? AFAIK PD reserves have ported sliders, not mesh, unless something has changed. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    I'd never heard of the 2 AAD system, as I knew it, they used to use FXC's on the mains, and then switched to Cypres on the reserves. To my line of thinking, 2 AAD's on seperate canopies is ASKING for a two out scenario. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    As to the hanger swoop, Tim is a pretty damed experienced canopy pilot and was attempting a stunt that went wrong. Good on him, and that's what comes sometimes from pushing the edge. Of course Tim does's seem to find and go over that edge alot. As to the two goofballs sucking it down on a freefly jump? I'm guessing they're pretty inexperienced, so yeah, it appears to be a pretty dumbassed thing to do. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
